In Mountain Goats, you're a racing goat. And not just any goat: one aiming for the top. Six mountains, a die to roll, and a constant race to reach the summit before anyone else. But there's only room for one at the top. And if you arrive late... someone will have already pushed you down.
This abstract family board game is fast, clever, and full of little mischief. Each turn, you combine dice to advance your goats, choosing where to invest: steadily climb the ladder or risk it all? And when you reach the top, you start earning points... until someone else knocks you off your throne.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Roll the dice and create combinations
On your turn, you roll four dice and combine them into sets of one or more dice. Each sum allows you to move one of your goats onto the mountain with that number (from 5 to 10).
2. Climb mountains with your goats
Each numbered column represents a mountain. If you play a sum that matches the mountain's number, you move a goat forward to that column. If you don't already have one there, you place it on the base and begin climbing.
3. Get points when you reach the top
When one of your goats reaches the top of a mountain, you get a corresponding point token. But be careful: you can be knocked off by other players if they arrive after you with the same number!
4. Defend your positions consistently
Staying at the top allows you to get more points every time you return to the same number. But to stay there, you have to keep using it: if you stop playing that number, you risk losing the top spot.
5. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins
When a certain number of point tokens (based on the number of players) runs out, the game ends. Whoever has the most points among the collected tokens… is the king (or queen) of the mountain goats!

There's only one place at the top of the mountain. And the goats aren't exactly willing to share it.
Mountain Goats is a fast-paced, colorful, and action-packed family board game . Each turn is a strategic race for points: roll the dice, climb the mountain, reach the summit... and try to stay there!
But be careful: if another goat catches up with you, it will push you down and your journey begins again. But no drama, eh—it's all part of the climb!

Mountain Goats is an abstract dice game with race & set collection mechanics, perfect for 2-4 players and games lasting about 20 minutes.
Each player controls a team of goats with the goal of reaching the six numbered peaks on the board.
Using the results of the dice, you move the goats along the tracks: once you reach the top, you start scoring points… until someone comes along and knocks you back down the hill .
The fast pace and constant possibility of restarting the game make Mountain Goats an ideal choice as an intelligent and interactive filler game , even for more experienced players looking for lightness.
