I pick up the challenge card and look at the cave
Before even touching the pieces, I observe. There's the torch at the top left, the mob in the middle, the lava blocking the direct path. I understand that I can't go straight. I start imagining an alternative route.

I move. I use one action to move a block, then another to get closer to the torch. But I reach a dead end: I've run out of the right moves in the wrong order. I put the pieces back to the starting point. I haven't lost — I've learned.

The process of every puzzle
Four repeating phases. You learn in a minute, you improve challenge after challenge.
40 numbered challenges of increasing difficulty. The card indicates where to place each element on the grid — blocks, mobs, torches, lava, and the treasure chest.
Before moving any pieces, observe the cave. Where are the obstacles? What's the path to the torch? How do you defeat the mob without getting stuck?
Use the 11 available actions in the correct order: moving blocks, defeating mobs, lighting torches. The order matters as much as the individual moves — getting it wrong means starting over.
When all torches are lit, all mobs defeated, and the path is clear — take the treasure chest. The puzzle is solved. Check the solution in the booklet if you want, or move directly to the next challenge.
