The art of moving in Ketsueki
At the heart of the game is a fluid action system based on Effort tokens. There are no rigid turns: you spend your Effort to travel, interact, or fight until you decide to rest or run out of energy.
Each world has its own unique rules: a dark labyrinth on Horobi, a casino on Unme, or ancient spirits on Memori. Visiting other worlds isn't just tourism; it's a strategic necessity to gather unique resources and complete your mission.
You will have to balance the race for points with the development of your Strength, Wisdom and Influence stats, essential to overcome the toughest tests.
Where it rewards you
You have 6-8 action tokens. Do you use them all for an explosive turn or save them for a retaliatory turn?
Mitigate bad luck by spending Fate tokens to manipulate rolls against Beasts.
World-specific monsters roam the map. Hunt them for glory and loot.
Collect Spirit cards at shrines for passive bonuses that change your playstyle.
Neutral NPCs move between worlds. Intercept them to raise your stats.
Mines and forests yield different resources. Often, what you need is in the enemy's world.
