Some people collect victory points... and some collect alpacas. In Alpaca, you're in charge of your own farm, and card by card, you must build the most profitable and cuddly enclosure in the game. But beware: the market is fierce, and the other farmers aren't just sitting back!
You start with a deck identical to the others, but the real fun comes when you start expanding it with new alpaca cards, each with unique abilities. You can focus on sturdy fences, crazy combinations of effects, or rare breeds that will make you rise to the top of the woolly leaderboard. A family board game , easy to explain but with a healthy dose of strategy.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. It all starts with an empty pen and a handful of woolly dreams.
In Alpaca , each player starts with an identical deck of corral cards and a few basic alpacas . The goal is to build the most profitable farm, filled with fluffy, adorable, and winning alpacas , accumulating points through the strategic purchase of new cards.
2. Build your deck, build your farm.
During your turn, you'll be able to draw cards, generate coins, and purchase new alpaca cards from the market. Each alpaca has a special ability and a different cost, and choosing which ones to add to your deck is key to creating effective combos and a truly vibrant game engine .
3. Be careful: it's not just a walk in the pastures.
Enclosure cards limit the number of alpacas you can have active on your board: you'll need to expand your enclosure if you want to house rarer or more advantageous specimens. And watch out for other players: the market empties quickly, and stealing your opponent's last needed card can be part of your strategy.
4. End-of-game bonuses and deck management.
In addition to alpacas, you can purchase end-of-game objective cards that give extra points if you meet certain requirements (e.g., having a certain type of alpaca or a minimum number of enclosures). Timing is key: knowing when to buy and when to purge useless cards makes your deck more fluid and effective.
5. Whoever has the most... cuddly and optimized farm wins.
At the end of the game, add up the points awarded by the alpacas on your board, the objective cards, and any bonuses. Alpaca is simple to learn, but has the depth of true competitive deckbuilding , in an unusually soft setting. Yes, you might even shout "this is mine!" as you grab your favorite alpaca. 🦙

Alpaca is an Italian board game by GateOnGames, designed for 2-4 competitive players , with quick games of about 30 minutes and simple but deep rules.
Based on deck-building mechanics , it pushes you to optimize each turn by buying new alpaca cards from the market, combining them as best as possible and taking advantage of increasingly interesting special powers.
The goal is clear: collect as many alpacas as possible and maximize your points , perhaps even adding bonus cards at the end of the game. The game scales well with two players, is language-independent , and offers a fun and familiar look and feel , ideal for introducing new players to the game or for relaxing with lighthearted games.
