🐸 HOW TO PLAY

1. A rogues' gallery of supervillains… and only one culprit to track down.

In Alibis , you and your team face a lineup of supervillains : illustrated, bizarre, and all potentially guilty. Your shared goal? Find the real culprit , gradually eliminating all the innocents through clues and cooperative deduction.

2. Each player knows two innocents… but only he knows it.

At the start of the game, each player is assigned two innocent suspects . No one knows anyone else's: only you know who you can exclude. To find the culprit, you'll have to share this information... without revealing who they are .

3. We play with words: one clue, one less suspect.

During their turn, each player gives a single word as a clue. This word must connect the two innocent suspects they know. If the clue is chosen well, the other players will be able to figure it out and discard those two villains, getting closer to the truth .

4. But be careful: an ambiguous clue can be confusing.

The problem? Your word might unintentionally point to another character , creating confusion. It requires precision, lateral thinking, and a pinch of creativity: the game thrives on shared intuition , where every word can reveal or confuse.

5. If you can exclude everyone except one… you've got him.

The game is won if, at the end of the deductive phase, the team correctly identifies the only suspect that no one has ruled out . Otherwise... you've chosen the wrong villain. A quick, elegant challenge, perfect for groups who love deductive word games .

Alibis

In Alibis, it's not enough to just talk: you have to be understood... in the right way.

A cooperative board game where you win with a single stroke of genius.

Alibis – A Clue, Two Innocents, and a Supervillain to Unmask

Was it the thief in the purple cloak? Or maybe the shapeshifter with the exploding umbrella?

In Alibis, you don't just have to find the culprit. You have to avoid framing the innocent , often with clues that say too much... or too little.

You have two characters to exonerate, a single word to do it, and a team that must decipher your thoughts without causing everything to collapse.

Because in this investigative party game every word counts , every suspicion is ambiguous, and every mistake risks freeing the real culprit.

A fast-paced, cooperative, and incredibly brilliant experience, perfect for tight-knit groups and evenings filled with laughter, deductions, and shouts of "of course!"

Alibis – The cooperative deduction party game that gets you... stuck with a smile

Alibis is a cooperative board game for 2-6 players, published by Allplay and signed by Yusuke Sato (the same author of Couture and Time Bomb ).

Each player is given two innocent suspects and must provide a word to let the others know who to exonerate. If everyone gets it right, the guilty party is the only one left unprotected.

But the task is not simple: mental associations can be confusing, suspicions are bizarre, and every word can cause the finger to be pointed in the wrong direction.

A perfect mix of deduction, creative association and minimalist communication , in the style of Just One but with a noir and superheroic vein.

Alibis is language-independent (just one word per turn!) and works with both small groups and larger tables.

A smart, fast-paced, and ever-changing party game, ideal for those who love challenging their minds with a light touch… and a pinch of investigative risk .

We played it, and we got hooked with enthusiasm 🐸

Few games have made us discuss so much after each match.

“But how could 'umbrella' mean that character?!”“But it was obvious, he had rain on the paper!” Alibis is a 20-minute gem that manages to make us all feel a little like detectives, a little guilty.

It works very well even for those who don't play much: the rules are straightforward, but the games reveal how difficult it is to be clear without being misunderstood .

At FroGames we put it on the table amid laughter, discussions and suspicions… and it keeps coming back, like all good culprits.
