CHAPTER 1

Core Box — Your Competitive Base

If you want to “play seriously”, the basis is this: positioning , timing , engagement .

In the Core you learn the unwritten rule: don't hire because you can , hire because you've created the right situation. The game rewards you when you anticipate, not when you react.

Goal: To feel like you're the one setting the pace at the table. If you like to grow game after game, this is the kind of game that “trains” you.
