Railroad Tiles – Desert Expansion: Between dunes, camels, and strategic mirages
Welcome to the desert... where the tracks never stop. With Railroad Tiles – Desert Expansion , your railway landscape is transformed into a sea of sand dotted with Oases, Pyramids, and Sphinxes . But here, building isn't just for show: every camel you place and every Desert Station you connect can help you climb the scoreboard with the slow but powerful pace of a well-planned caravan.
The rules change: after the first desert tile, each new tile must be connected to at least one edge of the same type (sand to sand, city to city). Camel Pins replace the usual railways and introduce new hybrid routes called Desert Trails , which can connect to both roads and classic tracks thanks to stations in the desert.
The scoring? A mix of engineer logistics and nomad instincts: each camel is worth extra points based on the stations it reaches, while desert attractions reward you if you manage to collect them all and connect them into strategic sets. And as if that weren't enough, there are new objectives to complete, like markets with five consecutive desert stretches or oases surrounded by sand.
