🐸 COME SI GIOCA
1. Move the airship and define the visible area
Each turn, you roll a die to advance the airship along its path. The destination point determines two straight lines on the board: those are the "visible" areas where you can act that turn.
2. Place a hot air balloon or expand your group
You can decide whether to place a new ball in the visible area or expand an existing group of balls, even outside the visible lines, but only if it is adjacent to one of your balls.
3. Create groups to score instant points
Every time you connect at least three balls in the same area, you get instant points. The larger the group, the more points you get. It's important to build wisely to avoid wasting placements.
4. Connect regions to activate bonus fleets
When you manage to form a chain of balloons that extends across multiple regions and reaches the track area, you activate a fleet: a combo that makes you flip the balloons and score extra points based on the number of regions involved.
5. Use secret pavilions and objectives for your final score
Placing a ball next to a pavilion immediately gives you 3 points. Completing certain areas or secret objectives at the end of the game can win you even if you're behind in the score during the game.

In Havalandi , you're not just placing hot air balloons: you're painting the sky, tile by tile.
Every throw, every spin, every move is a strategic flap of wings in the hexagonal sky before you.
But beware: you're not the only one looking to dominate the horizon. Launch pads are few, colors are plentiful, and the score… all depends on vision and timing.

Havalandi is an abstract board game for 2-4 players , created by Reiner Knizia, in which you place hot air balloons on a hexagonal grid with the aim of forming strategic groups and dominating areas of the board.
Each turn you'll roll dice to determine your action, carefully choosing your starting point and considering bonuses, limits, and perfect timing .
The game is completely language independent and is perfect for those who love light but elegant strategy , without text but with many decisions to ponder.
Ideal for relaxed yet competitive evenings, Havalandi combines planning, opportunism and a strong aesthetic component , thanks to the evocative theme of colourful hot air balloons expanding into the sky.

Don't expect fireworks, but one of those games you can just sit back and watch... until you realize you're fighting for every square. Havalandi is a silent and clever abstraction, where every die rolled forces you to make a choice: "Where is the best option now?", "How much risk do I have?", "Who am I blocking?"
It surprised us with the growing tension masked by visual peace .
It's the classic game that you explain in two minutes, but then you don't forgive if you make a wrong move.
