D&D 2024 Spells Reference Deck
Spell Reference Cards: Levels 0-1
"It's your turn. No manual flipping, no turn stopping. You draw the card, read, cast. The table keeps breathing."
What it's about
Low-level spells, in hand and ready to cast
Spells Reference Cards: Levels 0-1 is the official reference card deck for low-level spells in Dungeons & Dragons 2024. Cantrips and 1st-level spells, each on a beautifully designed card, with all the information you need at the table: range, components, duration, and effect.
Inside the box you'll find 98 spell cards (34 level 0 cantrips and 64 1st-level spells), plus 6 customizable cards for your homebrew options or spells you want to add manually, and 1 instruction card. In total, 105 cards, designed for spellcaster players who want to stop flipping through the manual mid-turn.
It's not additional game material: it's a speed tool. Spell decks make managing a spellcaster quicker, smoother, and more engaging, because they put information where it's truly needed, at your fingertips, at the exact moment it's your turn.
The cards cover cantrips and 1st-level spells from the D&D 2024 rulebook. They are a tabletop tool, not a manual: they complement the game, they don't replace it.
FroGames Editorial Note
A word from FroGames
🃏 The essence of a deck in one line
"The exact moment it's your turn isn't the right time to flip through the manual."
⚡ From tabletop experience
"A card in hand changes the pace: you cast, you don't search. And the turn flows smoothly."
One deck, four tables
Who really needs this deck
Reference cards aren't just for beginners. Here's what four very different types of players will find in them.
If it's your first spellcaster
You no longer have to memorize what each cantrip does. You have the options in front of you, you read them, you choose. Learning to play a wizard or a cleric becomes much simpler when spells are cards and not lines lost in the manual.
If you hate slowing down the table
You already know what to cast, you just need not to lose thirty seconds looking for it. The cards cut down on downtime: you draw, read the exact numbers, resolve. The group doesn't wait while you flip, and the session's rhythm stays lively.
If you are a Dungeon Master
Manage NPCs and spellcasting enemies without keeping three bookmarks in the manual. Distribute the spell cards that the antagonists will use and resolve their turns with the same speed as your players.
If you play without screens
You want an analog table, without tablets and apps open to consult D&D Beyond. The cards give you the same speed as digital while remaining physical, tactile, and visible to the whole group. No notifications, just gaming.
D&D Spells Reference Cards: Levels 0-1
What you'll find in the box
Four types of cards, 105 in total
34 Cantrips (level 0)
All low-level cantrips on cards. Spells you cast at will, always ready, without having to remember range, damage, or required action.
64 1st-level spells
The 1st-level spells that wizards, clerics, druids, bards, sorcerers, warlocks, and paladins will use in early sessions. Each with complete data.
6 Customizable cards
Blank cards for your homebrew spells or those you don't find in the deck. Write in pencil, integrate your options, and keep everything consistent on the table.
1 Instruction card
A quick guide explaining how to read the cards and how to use them at the table, so the deck is operational from the first minute, with no learning curve.
Honesty first
What you will NOT find in this box
We'll tell you before you buy. It's a reference accessory, not a complete game product. Here's what it does not contain, so you know exactly what you're buying.
The Italian language
The cards are in English. All spell names and descriptions are in the original language. If you play with Italian materials, please note that the names will not match.
Spells beyond level 1
This deck only covers cantrips and 1st-level spells. As your character grows and gains access to higher-level spells, you'll need the decks for subsequent levels.
Rules for playing
It is not a manual: it does not teach you how to play D&D nor does it contain the basic rules. You should already have a spellcasting character and the rulebook to use these cards.
New or exclusive spells
The cards list existing spells from the 2024 rulebook, not new magic. The value is the convenience of the format, not additional game content.
Monster cards or magic items
This deck is dedicated only to spells. For monster statistics or magic items, dedicated reference decks are needed, sold separately.
An indispensable accessory
You can play D&D perfectly well without it. It's a comfort, a turn accelerator: you buy it because you want a smoother table, not because you absolutely need it.
No surprises
To use it at the table, you only need this
✅ You need…
- This deck, ready to use
- A D&D 2024 spellcasting character
- A basic knowledge of English to read the cards
- Your group and a session to play
❌ You do NOT need…
- Sleeves or protective covers (optional)
- Apps or online accounts
- Other decks to start
- Previous experience with cards
Before the session, take out only the cards your character actually knows from the deck and keep them in a small separate pile. You'll have exactly your prepared spells at hand, without having to scroll through all 98 cards every turn. Keep the 6 customizable cards for spells you don't find in the deck: written in pencil, they remain consistent with the rest and can be erased when you change character.
"Magic shouldn't make the table wait. With the right cards in hand, it doesn't anymore."

How your turn changes
Five moments, a faster table
What really happens when you bring the spell deck to the table, from the first turn to the end of the evening.
Before the session
Open the box, pull out the spell cards your character knows, and keep them in a separate deck. In two minutes, your arsenal is ready.
The first turn
It's your turn. Instead of flipping through the manual for the right page, you browse the cards in your hand: range, damage, components. Everything is already there, before your eyes.
Mid-combat
The battle is tense, time matters. You draw the card, read the exact effect, declare. No pauses while you search, no misremembered rules: the rhythm doesn't break.
When you try a new spell
You've just learned a magic you've never used before. The card explains its effect at a glance: you try it without fear of getting the numbers wrong.
At the end of the evening
The group remembers the turns as fluid, not as pauses. You put the cards back in the box and next time you're operational in thirty seconds.
How to use at the table
Four steps, zero learning curve
Select your spells
Draw only the cards for the cantrips and spells your character knows and has prepared for this session from the deck.
Keep them handy
Place the deck next to your character sheet. At a glance, you see what options you have available, without scrolling through lists or flipping through the manual.
Draw and cast
When it's your turn, pick up the spell card, read the range, components, and effect, declare the action, and resolve. The turn flows quickly.
Update as you grow
When you learn new spells, add the cards to the deck. For homebrew spells, use the 6 customizable cards, written in pencil.
Honest comparison
Three ways to manage spells at the table
Cards aren't the only way to keep track of your spells. Here's how they compare to the manual and digital apps.
| What matters | Spells Reference Cards | Consulting the manual | App / D&D Beyond |
|---|---|---|---|
| Table speed | High, card in hand | Low, flipping pages | High, but on screen |
| Analog table | Yes, no screens | Yes | No, requires a device |
| Clutter | Compact deck | Heavy open volume | None, but battery |
| Spell coverage | Only levels 0 and 1 | All levels | All levels |
| Cost | One-time, essential | Already in the manual | Subscription or purchases |
| Language | English | Italian or English | Often English only |
Why it's worth 21 euros
Six concrete reasons to keep it on the table
Faster turns
The main advantage: the spell is in your hand, not hidden in the manual. You cut down on casting downtime and keep the session's pace alive for the whole group.
98 spells ready to go
34 cantrips and 64 level 1 spells, each with all the data in the right place. Open the box and you immediately have the entire low-level array on the table.
6 customizable cards
Space for homebrew spells or options not found in the deck. Write in pencil, integrate your spells, and keep a consistent table.
No screens on
The same speed as an app, but physical and tactile. For those who want an analog table, without tablets, notifications, or batteries to recharge mid-session.
Perfect for learning
For those playing a spellcaster for the first time, it's a training ground: you see the options in front of you, compare them, and understand what each does without memorizing anything.
Aligned with D&D 2024
The cards follow the cantrips and level 1 spells of the updated 2024 rules, so the information in your hand matches that of your current game.
What you take home
An accessory you use every session
From the first game
From the very first session, your turn changes pace: no more pauses searching for the spell. It's a small investment that is immediately felt at the table.
Campaign after campaign
The cards remain valid for every new low-level spellcaster you play. An accessory that doesn't wear out and that you'll use again with every new character.
Give your next spellcaster quicker turns and a smoother table. It starts with the first card.
