Merchants, reputation, unique skills and contracts to conquer.
1) Each round is a secret market: everyone plays a card, but no one knows what is about to come out.
You have in your hand5 Merchant cards, each withskill and reputationunique.
On each turn of a round, all players:
1️⃣ they choosea face-down card,
2️⃣ they reveal it together,
3️⃣ compare thereputationof the merchants played.
It's a game of reading your opponents, timing, and elegant bluffing.
2) Reputation decides money… but the worst unleashes skill chaos.
After revealing the cards:
Themerchant with the highest reputationearn money,
Thesecond higheststill earn something,
Themerchant with the lowest reputationactivates itsspecial ability— often powerful, unpredictable, or sabotaging.
And since each merchant has a different skill, every turn is an unpredictable curve.
3) A round is made up of 4 turns (3 if there are 5 of you): and every card played is lost forever.
In one round you playonly 4 of the 5 cardswhat do you have.
Managing which merchants to use and when to use them is the real strategic part:
do you play a tall merchant to get money?
Are you at risk of being the last one to unleash a strong ability?
do you protect the money?
Are you pushing others towards bad choices?
The cards are few, the information is secret, the choices weigh heavily.
4) At the end of the round, the money is counted: the richest player gets a Contract.
When the last turn of the round ends, everyone reveals their accumulated money.
The player withmore moneytakes1 Contract Card.
Contracts are the true victory condition, so each round is a race to accumulate wealth…
but without being read by others.
5) Victory: The first to obtain the required number of Contracts becomes the Master of Merchant.
The game continues round after round.
Money wins in the short term, but contracts win in the long term.
When a player reaches the number of Contracts required by the chosen mode…
👉the game ends and he is the winner.
A brilliant, cunning merchant, good at choosing the right card at the perfect time.
