QUICK GUIDE: HOW TO PLAY BLUE PENGUIN

**GAME OBJECTIVE**
The goal is to accumulate the most points by collecting "Heart" cards and creating the right penguin combinations, while avoiding penalty cards or disadvantageous situations. The player with the highest score at the end of the game wins.


**PREPARATION**
1. Shuffle the deck of penguin cards thoroughly.
2. Deal each player the number of cards indicated in the rules based on the number of participants.
3. Place the remaining deck in the center of the table as a draw pile.
4. Leave room for the discard pile.


**GAME TURN**
The game is played clockwise. On your turn, you must:

1. **Draw:** Take a card from the draw pile or, if the variant rules allow it, from the discard pile.
2. **Play:** Choose a card from your hand to play on the table. Cards can be played for:
- **Collecting:** If the card is part of a set you are building.
- **Action:** If the card has a special effect (e.g. stealing a card, making an opponent discard).
- **Discard:** If you can't or don't want to play anything useful, discard a card to the common pile.


**DOTS AND HEARTS**
Many cards feature "heart" or crown symbols. Try to keep these cards in your play area or in your score pile. Watch out for "sad" or "angry" penguins, which may have negative effects or be worth zero points.


**END OF THE GAME**
The game ends when the draw pile runs out or when a player reaches a specific victory condition (e.g., emptying their hand). Points are then tallied:

- Add the values ​​of the Hearts collected.
- Apply any bonuses for complete sets.
- Subtract any penalties.

The player with the highest total is the new **Penguin King**!
