You have twelve cards in hand. Each guest wants something different: some want adjacent rooms, some want a secluded corner, some want exactly where you put the ivy. The inn grows with each turn and in the end, it will never be as you imagined it.

A magical inn that grows card by card
Designed by Sarah Joshua and illustrated by Snow Conrad and Wenyi Geng, Enchanted Ivy is a solitaire puzzle where you inherit an enchanted inn and must transform it into the perfect refuge for increasingly demanding guests. The central mechanic is grid placement: each card you play permanently modifies the structure of your B&B, and the ivy climbing the walls rewards (or punishes) your choices.
At the table, it means drawing a card, choosing where to place it in the 4×4 grid you build turn by turn, and trying to satisfy the guests' requests. Some want diagonally adjacent rooms, others surrounded by ivy, still others isolated. The Story mode adds unique objectives and challenges that change the rules from game to game.

Guest Cards
Each guest has positional preferences: the witch wants to be surrounded, the ghost prefers corners, the botanist seeks ivy. You place them on the grid and at the end of the game you check if you have met their requests to earn points.
Magic Ivy
Some cards have ivy symbols that you cultivate along the edges of the grid. Connected ivy is worth points, but takes up valuable space. Managing it well means balancing growth and flexibility for future guests.
Story Objectives
Campaign mode introduces progressive challenges: "No guests in corners," "At least 8 connected ivy segments," "All guests satisfied." Each scenario changes how you approach the puzzle.
Rewards and upgrades
Overcoming objectives unlocks permanent or temporary bonuses that modify the rules of subsequent games, creating a light but significant progression in the campaign.
