Nippon: Zaibatsu – Emperor's Edition is a new deluxe edition of Nuno Bizarro Sentieiro's popular majority-based economics game . In this game, 1 to 4 players take on the roles of Zaibatsu , giant industrial conglomerates that led the modernization of Japan during the Meiji era.
Invest in industries , build factories and railways , produce goods to dominate local markets, and fulfill contracts to expand your influence. Every strategic choice matters: manage the pace of the game , decide what will earn you Victory Points, and fight to seize the best opportunities before your rivals.
This Emperor's Edition includes deluxe wooden components, 30 new factories , common objectives , and improvements to graphics, rules, and variety. It also introduces new resource types , a revamped expedition system, and a single-player automaton .

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Each player leads an industrial conglomerate (zaibatsu) and, each turn, selects a worker from a common pool to perform actions such as building factories, developing railroads, producing goods, or obtaining contracts.
2. Built factories allow you to produce goods (silk, coal, iron) that can be used to fulfill contracts or sold in local markets, generating profits and increasing the influence of your zaibatsu.
3. Players must balance the cost of workers, as hiring workers of different colors incurs additional costs, affecting their action selection strategy.
4. The expansion of the railways allowed for access to new areas of Japan, opening up opportunities to build additional factories and access more profitable markets.
5. The game ends after a predetermined number of rounds; players calculate victory points earned through accumulated influence, completed contracts, and built factories. The player with the highest score wins.
