How to Play
The flow of each round with the Story Pack
The Roll Camera! base game remains intact: crew dice, actions, scenes to shoot. The Spy Thriller Story Pack adds a layer of paranoia.
Roll the crew dice (director, producer, camera, etc.) and assign them to actions: solve Problems, place tokens on the set, shoot Scenes. Spy scenes have thematic patterns: documents, chases, confrontations.
Every time you hold a production meeting or play certain Idea cards, the Conspiracy Board advances: information leaks. If you reach the critical threshold, the ending is compromised, and you lose advantages.
Use Gadget tokens to unlock special actions or bypass restrictions. Secret Mission cards give you hidden objectives: complete them without others (or yourself, in solo) noticing too soon.
Complete all 5 scenes within budget and schedule. Check the final quality and the leak level on the Conspiracy Board. If the secret held and the quality is high, you've shot the perfect thriller.

Read the script: you've written the best twist ending in cinema history. Someone's laughing, someone's already imagining the Oscar. Then the warning arrives: rival studios have planted spies in the crew. The film must be released before the ending leaks.
Every meeting is suspicious
You start shooting the first spy scenes: chases, secret document drops. The Conspiracy Board fills up with every production meeting. Someone is taking too many notes. Look at the Crew tokens with suspicion.
Gadgets save the set
A Problem arises: the crucial scene is blocked. Pull out a Gadget token: hidden microphones, fake documents, futuristic technology. The right die solves everything. For now.
The leak is confirmed
The Conspiracy Board explodes: too much information has leaked. Someone from the crew has spoken. Now it's a race against time: finish the film before the ending goes online. Budget and schedule are burning fast.
Action, last scene

This is a Story Pack, not a standalone game. You need Roll Camera! base to play: main board, crew dice, core rulebook. The box only contains the spy cards and components.
Modular or total
You can use it in two ways: replace all base game Scene/Idea/Problem cards for a 100% spy film, or mix it with other cards for a hybrid film. The Conspiracy Board is always active, adding an extra layer.
