FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Someone holds their breath. Someone whispers a prayer. Someone is already laughing before everything collapses. And then comes the marshmallow.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
A campfire to build block by block, without letting it collapse
Designed by Rob Sparks and illustrated by Rory Muldoon, Tinderblox Sunset is the eco-friendly version of the dexterity game that turns a camping trip into a nerve-wracking challenge. Published by Alley Cat Games and localized by Little Rocket Games, it includes the Marshmallow expansion and FSC-certified materials.
Each turn, you draw a card that tells you where to place logs and embers on the fire. You use tweezers to avoid burning anything. If anything falls, you're eliminated. The last one standing wins. The marshmallow adds an extra challenge: place it without making the tower collapse.
What they say abroad
Super fast games where the only thing that matters is a steady hand and the silence of others.
— FroGames
Every block is a gamble. Every breath could be one too many.

What's in the box
Essential components to build the fire
Wooden logs
Wooden blocks to stack according to the cards. Light, unstable, and ready to betray a trembling hand.
Embers
Orange discs that simulate the embers of the fire. They must be placed in balance between the logs, with surgical precision.
Tweezers
The only tool you can use to touch the pieces. If you drop something with these, you're out.
Marshmallow (expansion included)
The most infamous piece: big, gummy, impossible to place. Whoever places it without everything collapsing deserves applause.
In ten minutes, someone will have knocked everything down, and everyone will laugh. Then you start over immediately.
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
It starts with confidence
The first blocks are easy. The structure is low, the hand is steady, everyone thinks it will be a piece of cake. Someone makes jokes about the marshmallow. The illusion doesn't last long.
The first collapse
A card demands an absurd placement. Someone tries, the tower sways, and then everything collapses. Laughter, polite curses, and the first eliminated player watching from the sidelines.
The silence thickens
Three players remain. The tower is tall, unstable, and every breath seems too much. No one speaks anymore. Tweezers tremble, eyes narrow, the table is an altar of tension.
The marshmallow arrives
Someone draws the cursed card: the marshmallow. Large, gummy, impossible to control with tweezers. They place it, the tower sways, everyone holds their breath. And then... it holds. For now.
The reckoning
Two players remain. The tower is a miracle of balance. A card demands the impossible. Someone tries, something falls. The winner raises their arms, the others immediately demand a rematch.
How to play
The flow of each turn
Each turn is identical: draw, place, pray.
The card tells you what to place (log, ember, marshmallow) and where (on top, underneath, in the middle, crosswise).
You can only touch the pieces with tweezers. No fingers, no shortcuts. If the piece falls while you're moving it, you're eliminated.
Follow the card's instructions. If the tower collapses during your turn, you're out. If it holds, pass your turn.
Whoever remains standing when everyone else has been eliminated wins. Or whoever completes a marshmallow challenge without anything collapsing wins.
Why it's different from others
Six elements that make the difference
Tweezers change everything
You can't use your hands. Tweezers amplify every tiny tremor, turning every movement into a risk. Precision becomes the only weapon, and those with steady hands dominate the table.
The tower grows vertically
Unlike Jenga, here you build upwards. The taller the tower becomes, the more unstable everything is. Each new block is a gamble against physics.
Cards decide impossible challenges
You don't choose what to place: the deck decides. And the cards are merciless. Log crosswise, ember on an edge, marshmallow on top: every card can be your doom.
The marshmallow is pure wickedness
The expansion adds the most infamous piece of the game: large, soft, impossible to control with tweezers. Whoever places it successfully deserves a standing ovation.
Instant elimination
Drop something? You're out. No second chances, no rescues. The game is unforgiving, and this raises the tension with every turn.
Portable tin box
Tinderblox Sunset fits in a pocket. Take it anywhere: real camping, bar table, family lunch. And FSC materials make it a sustainable choice.
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Victory is simple: be the last one standing. Defeat is even simpler: make everything collapse.
Victory
- You are the last player remaining in the game after everyone else has been eliminated
- Successfully complete a marshmallow challenge without dropping anything
- Others collapse before you thanks to your steady hand and held breath
Elimination
- You drop a piece while moving it with tweezers
- The tower collapses during your turn while you are placing a block
- You touch a piece with your hands instead of tweezers
Tinderblox Sunset is pure tension compressed into 15 minutes. It works anywhere, with anyone, and always leaves someone with trembling hands.
Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about Tinderblox Sunset
Can a 6-year-old play too?
Yes, the rules are immediate and the challenge is physical, not strategic. Children often have steadier hands than adults, which levels the playing field. Direct elimination can be frustrating for younger children, but games are so fast that you start again immediately.
How many games can be played in a row?
It depends on how much tension you can handle. A game lasts 3-15 minutes, so you can easily play 3-5 in half an hour. Replayability is high because the cards always mix up the challenges, but in the long run it becomes repetitive if played for hours.
Is the marshmallow really that difficult?
Yes. It's large, gummy, and the tweezers struggle to hold it. Placing it without making the tower sway is quite a feat. The Marshmallow expansion transforms an already tense challenge into something borderline impossible.
Can it be played with 2 people or does it need more?
It works great with 2, but it really explodes with 4-6. More players mean more turns, more accumulated tension, more laughs when someone makes everything collapse. With 2, it's a direct challenge, but it lacks the group's chaos.
Is it available in Italian?
Yes, this is the Italian edition by Little Rocket Games. The cards are in Italian, the rulebook is in Italian, and the materials are FSC certified. It includes the Marshmallow expansion already integrated into the box.
