The FroGames Card
You pour the tea, someone places a lantern, another person grows a flower in the garden. Someone reads an encouragement card aloud. Everyone smiles. It's that kind of evening.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
A hand-painted celebration of friendship
So Happy You're Here! is a card game designed by Valeria Cavasin and illustrated by Victoria Osorio, published by Fiammingo Games. Each card has been hand-painted to recreate an authentic cottagecore atmosphere: tea cups, cake slices, flowers in the garden, lanterns and little birds. The game promises to bring a truly cozy experience to the table, where positive interaction and shared goals are at the heart of everything.
Each turn you play a card from your hand that matches a card on the rooftop to activate its effect: grow flowers in the garden, move the lantern or lizard token, give tea and cake to other players, collect adorable little birds. You can also earn points by playing positive affirmation cards to encourage others and strengthen friendships through shared goals. At the end of the game, whoever brought a little extra magic to the table wins the game.

Give cups of tea and slices of cake to other players. These are not just points: they are gestures of care that strengthen friendships at the table.
Lantern and lizard
Move the lantern or lizard token on the board to activate special effects. Small details that enrich the game's atmosphere.
Adorable birds
Collect bird tokens during the game. They are points, but also a small visual reward that adds charm to the table.

How to play
The flow of each turn
Each turn is simple: match, activate, pass. The structure is linear and intuitive.
You play a card from your hand that matches one of the cards on the roof. If the card matches, you place it and activate its effect.
The effect can be: growing flowers in the garden, moving the lantern or the lizard, giving tea or cake to another player, collecting a little bird, or playing a positive affirmation card.
After activating the effect, replace the card on the roof with a new one from the deck. This way the roof continuously changes and everyone has to adapt.
The turn passes to the next player. The game flows quickly and without downtime, because each turn lasts only a few seconds.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Tea is served
Everyone draws their starting cards and looks at the roof: four face-up cards waiting to be matched. Someone is already smiling looking at the hand-painted illustrations. The atmosphere is soft, welcoming, without urgency.
The first flowers grow
The first player matches a card to the roof and grows a flower in the shared garden. The others begin to understand how the synergies work. Someone offers a cup of tea to another player. Smiles are exchanged.
The lantern moves
Mid-game, the garden begins to fill up and the lantern moves on the board, activating effects that change priorities. Someone plays a positive affirmation card and reads aloud an encouraging phrase for another player.
The little birds arrive
The last turns are when everyone tries to maximize points, but without malice. Someone collects a little bird, someone else completes a shared objective. The table is full of colors and tokens.
Who brought the most magic
Points are tallied: flowers grown, tea and cake given, little birds collected, shared objectives completed. The winner brought a little more magic, but no one really feels defeated. Everyone comments on how beautiful the illustrations were.

Three honest things
Art over mechanics
The hand-painted illustrations are the real strong point of the game. If you're looking for strategic depth or competitive tension, this isn't the right game: it's designed to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Works best with 3+ players
The game is designed for 3-5 players. It doesn't work with 2 players and has no solo mode. Positive interaction and shared objectives really require a group to shine.
Experience over competition
There's a winner at the end of the game, but the real focus is on the shared experience. If there are players at the table who want to win at all costs, this game might seem too gentle.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win
At the end of the game, points are counted from various sources. The player with the most points wins.
Victory
- Flowers grown in the shared garden (the more you grew, the more points you earn)
- Tea and cake given to other players (each gift is worth points)
- Little birds collected and shared objectives completed (bonuses for those who contributed most)
How you lose points
- There are no penalties or ways to lose points: it's a game of positive accumulation
- The only way to lose is not to play in harmony with shared objectives
- Players who only play for themselves and ignore others will likely finish last
So Happy You're Here! is not a game for those seeking challenge or competition. It's for those who want to spend a pleasant half-hour with friends, surrounded by handmade art and kind gestures.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about So Happy You're Here!
Is it a cooperative or competitive game?
It's an unusual hybrid: there's an individual winner, but much of the game is based on shared objectives and positive interaction. It's not a pure cooperative, but the competition is very gentle. More of a group game than a race.
Does it work well with new players?
Yes, in fact: it's perfect. The rules are simple (match card, activate effect), the theme is immediate, and the welcoming atmosphere immediately puts everyone at ease. Ideal for those new to board games.
Do the hand-painted illustrations really make a difference?
Absolutely. Victoria Osorio's art is the heart of the game: every card looks like it came out of a cottagecore sketchbook. If you appreciate curated components and visual atmosphere, this game is worth it for that alone.
What mechanics does So Happy You're Here! use?
Hand management and set collection. You match cards to activate effects, collect tokens, and complete objectives. Simple but effective structure to maintain a fluid rhythm.
Is it available in Italian?
The edition sold on FroGames is in English. The text on the cards is minimal (iconic effects and affirmation cards), so language has little impact on gameplay. Suitable even for those with basic English skills.
