FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
A theme song starts, someone recognizes it after two notes, someone else swears they know the title. And in ten seconds, you're all thirty years back in time.
What it's about
An evening that rewinds the tape back to the 80s and 90s
Rewind is Cranio Creations' party game dedicated to the pop culture of two decades we've never stopped talking about. Music, cinema, television, catchphrases, icons: choose a category, assess the difficulty of the question, and answer to earn points.
But Rewind isn't just any quiz. Each player has superpowers to use at the right moment — to double, steal, or turn the tables while keeping an eye on opponents. Knowing the answer isn't enough: you also need to know when to strike.
Born from the idea of Le Millennials — Silvia Rossi, Stefania Rubino, and Ilaria Sirena, the creators of the web project I Trentenni — together with Lorenzo Tucci Sorrentino. Questions written by those who truly lived those years.
It's not about who knows the most, but who knows when to use the right superpower at the right time. This is where nostalgia becomes strategy.
The secret of Rewind in one line
One question is enough to kick off ten minutes of "do you remember when...". You play for points, you stay for the memories.
From the game experience
Rewind
What's in the game
Four ingredients, a whole evening
200 question cards
Music, movies, TV, and pop icons from the 80s and 90s. Choose category and difficulty: the more you risk, the more points you get.
30 superpowers
The strategic twist. Double, steal, block an opponent. A superpower played at the right moment can turn the game around.
56 victory points
Each correct answer earns points based on the chosen difficulty. Whoever accumulates the most at the end wins the time travel.
Two decades of pop
Questions crafted by those who truly lived those years: no generic trivia, just memories that bring a smile.
Between games, you'll end up singing a theme song from memory. It always happens with Rewind.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The evening.
Press play
Cards shuffled, superpowers dealt, no lengthy explanations. Just one phrase — "answer and score points" — and everyone already gets it. Someone smiles confidently, someone else whispers "I know the 80s by heart."
The first question makes the table erupt
A theme song, a movie, a catchphrase comes up. Someone knows it, someone hums it, someone is absolutely convinced and makes a spectacular mistake. The first "you seriously don't remember that?" begins. The game is already a reunion.
Superpowers enter the scene
Whoever was behind plays their card: double, steal, block. Suddenly, knowing the answer is no longer enough — you need to read your opponents. The table goes from laughter to calculation in a single turn.
The question no one expected to know
There's always that moment: an absurd, niche question that only one person at the table knows. They pull it out of nowhere, general disbelief erupts, and that scene becomes the story to be told at the next dinner.
Someone wins. No one stops talking.
Points are tallied, someone triumphs. But the table is already elsewhere — still discussing that theme song, that TV show, who was right in turn three. And the most dangerous phrase begins: "come on, one more game."
How to play
The flow of each turn
Four rapid, repeating steps. You learn with the first question, you amicably argue from the second.
Music, cinema, TV, pop icons. The higher the difficulty you choose, the more points the question is worth — but the more risk you run of getting nothing.
Before answering, you can play your powers or anticipate those of your opponents. This is when the game becomes tactical.
You pull movies, songs, and catchphrases from the drawer of your memory. Correct answer: the points are yours, according to the chosen difficulty.
Collect victory point tokens, pass the first player, and start again. The game races towards the point threshold that determines the winner.
Why it's different from other quizzes
Six things that make Rewind unique
It's not just about knowing, it's about strategy
Superpowers turn the quiz into a duel. Double, steal, block: the right answer at the wrong time is worth little. Timing is key here.
You choose the risk
Easy question and sure points, or difficult and jackpot? Risk management changes every turn and keeps everyone in the game until the end.
Authentic, not generic, nostalgia
The questions come from those who truly lived the 80s and 90s — Le Millennials from I Trentenni. No bar trivia: real memories.
Ready in seconds
Zero setup, no manual to study. Open the box, deal the powers, and you're already playing. Perfect for winding down the evening.
A chat machine
Every card triggers a "do you remember when...?". You don't just play: you reminisce, discuss, laugh. The game is an excuse to remember together.
200 questions, many evenings
The deck is substantial and covers music, cinema, TV, and icons. It takes quite a few games before you see the same cards again.
How to win
Points, powers, and steady nerves
The winner is whoever accumulates the most victory points — but the path to get there depends as much on memory as on cunning. Knowing the answers gets you ahead; skillfully using powers gets you to the top.
The objective
- Accumulate more victory points than anyone else by answering correctly
- More difficult questions are worth more: dare when necessary
- Whoever has the most points at the end of the game claims victory
The real challenge
- Opponents' superpowers can steal your points at the last minute
- Keep an eye on who's in the lead and play your cards at the right moment
- Remembering isn't enough: you need to read the table and choose when to strike
Rewind is the perfect party game for those who grew up with theme songs, VHS, and Walkmans. Quick to explain, impossible to put down after just one game.
Frequently Asked Questions
Rewind FAQ
Is it just another general knowledge quiz?
No, and that's precisely the difference. The superpower mechanic adds a layer of strategy that classic quizzes lack: you can double, steal, or block opponents. Knowing the answer is half the game — the other half is using your powers at the right time. And the questions are all focused on the pop culture of two specific decades, not generic trivia.
If I didn't experience the 80s and 90s, will I be bored?
Rewind is best with those who lived through or love those years: it's designed for the nostalgia of those who were there. If you're younger but passionate about retro music, cinema, or pop culture, you'll still do well, thanks to the superpowers that level the playing field. But it's fair to say: the ideal audience is already smiling at the name "Rewind."
How many players are needed and how long does it last?
It plays 2 to 6 players and a game lasts about 20 minutes. It's perfect as a party starter, dinner closer, or filler between other games. With a large group, the chaos of memories and powers reaches its peak.
Is it suitable for people who rarely play board games?
Absolutely. The rules are explained in a couple of minutes and there's no complicated setup: if you can answer a question, you already know how to play. It's one of the simplest ways to bring even those who don't usually play to the table.
Do the questions run out quickly?
Unlikely. The box contains 200 question cards divided among music, cinema, television, and pop icons: it will take many evenings before you see the same ones. And with superpowers, every game still takes a different turn.
What language is Rewind in?
Rewind is entirely in Italian: cards, rulebook, and questions. It's a party game by Cranio Creations designed for the Italian audience and the pop culture we experienced here.
