FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
When villains board, someone spills the tea, someone else loses their favorite comic, and everyone together has to figure out which ninja to send where. And yes, there's also a confused postman.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Defending the Destiny's Bounty has never been so chaotic
LEGO: NINJAGO – Destiny's Bounty Adventures is a family cooperative game designed by Jonas Resting-Jeppesen and published by Dotted Games, bringing the NINJAGO universe to a board game. The grand ship Destiny's Bounty is under attack: snakes, pirates, and even a bewildered postman attempt to conquer it. The ninjas must repel them, but to do so, they will have to unlock their full potential.
At the table, players choose seemingly everyday actions (drinking tea, reading comics, defeating villains) to fill their victory bars and unlock upgrades: more powerful Spinjitzu cards and unique abilities for each character. Each adventure changes setup, difficulty, and introduces twists that force players to rethink their strategy. If the villains fill their track before the ninjas fill theirs, the game is lost.
What they say abroad
Drinking tea to save the world. Only LEGO could do it with such perfect logic.
— FroGames
Eight different adventures mean that every game forces you to think differently. And that's rare in family cooperative games.

What's in the box
The pieces that make the ship run
Ninjas with unique abilities
Each character has specific powers that unlock during the game. Coordinating who does what is key to winning.
Spinjitzu and Potential Cards
Upgrades obtained by completing actions. Better Spinjitzu for fighting, Potential cards for unique character abilities.
Approaching Villains
Snakes, pirates, and yes, a confused postman. They advance towards key areas of the ship. If they arrive, they fill the villains' track.
Eight different adventures
Each scenario has its own setup, difficulty, and twists. You never play the same game the same way twice.
In half an hour, you'll understand why drinking tea on a besieged ship is the most sensible thing in the world. It always happens with LEGO.
📦Box Contents15 types of components
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Choose your adventure
Read the scenario, place the villains according to the setup. Someone asks which ninja to choose, someone else studies the ship's map. Each adventure has a different story, and from the setup, you already know this one won't be like the last.
The first villains board
The villains advance towards key areas. Someone suggests sending the strongest ninja, someone else wants to wait for upgrades. The villain track starts to fill up. Tension rises immediately.
First upgrades unlock
Someone completes their victory bar by drinking tea, someone else by defeating enemies. Better Spinjitzu cards are drawn, and unique character abilities are unlocked. The table comes alive: now coordination can truly begin.
The scenario's plot twist
Every adventure has a plot twist. A new type of villain arrives, a rule changes, a special event is triggered. The plan you had in mind must be rewritten on the fly. Someone laughs, someone curses, everyone starts discussing again.
Victory or defeat by a whisker
The villain track is almost full. Two spaces left to win, but also one to lose. Someone has to sacrifice their turn to block a villain, someone else pushes to complete the last bar. You win or lose all together, and the table erupts one way or another.
How to play
The flow of each turn
A turn lasts only a few minutes, but every choice matters.
Drink tea, read comics, defeat villains. Each action fills your victory bar and brings you closer to upgrades.
Enemies move towards the ship's key areas. If they reach an important area, they are added to the villain track.
When you fill your victory track, you draw better Spinjitzu cards or unique Potential abilities for your character.
If the villain track fills up, you lose. If all ninjas complete their bars first, you win.
Why it's different from others
Six reasons why it works
Eight adventures with different setups
It's not a co-op with just one scenario repeated endlessly. Eight different adventures vary in difficulty, initial placement, and introduce unique plot twists. Every game feels new.
In-game progression
You start weak, you end with significant upgrades. Better Spinjitzu cards and Potential abilities unlock by completing actions. The feeling of growth is tangible, and it happens in 30-45 minutes.
Unique abilities for each ninja
They are not interchangeable characters. Each ninja has specific powers that change the way you play. Coordinating who does what is the heart of the game, not a detail.
Absurd actions that make sense
Drinking tea, reading comics, defeating villains: everything contributes to victory. Only LEGO could make this logic work, and it works because each action fills the bar differently.
Constant villain pressure
Enemies don't wait. They advance every turn, filling their track if they reach key areas. Tension gradually builds, and the timer is visible, concrete, inexorable.
Tangible cooperative victory
The player with the most points doesn't win. The table wins if everyone completes their bars before the villain track fills up. You win or lose together, and this is the most important rule.
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The game ends when one of the two tracks fills up first.
Victory
- All ninjas complete their victory bars before the villain track fills up
- Enough upgrades are unlocked to repel villains from the ship's key areas
- The table coordinates actions and abilities effectively, blocking the enemy's advance
Defeat
- The villain track fills completely before the ninjas complete their bars
- Too many villains reach the important areas of Destiny's Bounty
- The table fails to coordinate quickly enough to block the assault
It's a LEGO co-op that really works. Eight different scenarios, in-game progression, and that rare feeling of growing together at the table in half an hour.
Frequently asked questions
FAQ about LEGO: NINJAGO – Destiny's Bounty Adventures
How long does a game really last?
The first few games last 40-45 minutes, because everything is explained and discussed together. From the second game onwards, it easily drops to 30-35 minutes. It's a cooperative game that doesn't drag, which is a huge advantage for families.
Is it too easy for children used to more structured games?
It depends on the scenario. The first adventures are accessible and designed for learning. The later ones are significantly more difficult, with plot twists that change the rules on the fly. Eight different scenarios mean it scales well from beginners to experienced players.
Do you need to know the NINJAGO universe to play?
No. The game works perfectly well even without knowing the LEGO series. The characters have clear abilities, the scenarios are self-contained, and the cooperative mechanic is universal. Knowing NINJAGO adds charm for fans, but it's not a requirement.
Does it work well with two players?
Yes, but the experience changes. With two players, a reduced number of ninjas are controlled, so coordination is more direct but the villain pressure is the same. With four, the chaos and discussion are greater, but that's part of the fun. Both configurations work, but the game truly shines with three or more players.
Is it available in Italian?
Yes, this Asmodee edition is completely in Italian: cards, rulebook, components. Everything localized, no language barrier for families and children.
