The FroGames card
Your grid fills up. Cards arrive from above. You have three seconds to decide which combo to unleash, where to place the next bullet, whether to risk a clear or hold your hand. Someone at the table screams. You're already drawing.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Four new heroines from the Orange Juice franchise enter the Bullet arena
Bullet: Orange is a standalone expansion for Bullet♥️, designed by Joshua Van Laningham and illustrated by Collateral Damage Studios and Usanekorin. It brings four iconic characters from the Orange Juice video game franchise to the table: Sora (Flying Red Barrel), Suguri, QP (QP-shooting - Dangerous!!) and other beloved community faces. Published by Level 99 Games in 2021, it is the first tabletop appearance of these characters and integrates perfectly with the base game.
In Bullet, you play as one of the heroines, manage a hand of numbered cards, and place them on a vertical grid to create patterns and combos. "Bullet" cards arrive from above (or from the sides, depending on the mode) and your grid fills up each turn. If you reach the red line, you lose. The goal is to eliminate opponent's cards by firing well-calibrated combos, managing time pressure (in real-time mode) or planning perfect turns (in turn-based mode). Each heroine has unique abilities, special triggers, and a personal deck that completely changes the way you play.
What they're saying abroad
"Bullet: Orange is a new expansion for Bullet♥️."
— Level 99 Games
Bullet: Orange is a frantic puzzle that rewards those who think fast and plan even faster. Each character is a mini-game in itself.
— FroGames
Bullet: Orange
The game includes official solo modes with boss patterns that simulate opponents controlled by event cards. The experience is complete and maintains all the tension of multiplayer, but obviously loses direct interaction and reading of opponent grids. Excellent for practicing combos and learning heroines.
Your weapons
What you have in front of you when you play
Personal heroine deck
Each character has a unique deck of numbered cards (1-8) with special abilities. Sora flies, Suguri accumulates energy, QP plays with luck. No two decks are alike.
Vertical grid
Your play area: 4 columns where you place cards. Bullets enter from above and descend. If a column exceeds the red line, you are eliminated. Managing it is everything.
Trigger cards and abilities
Each heroine has unique triggers that activate when you create specific patterns (e.g., 3 consecutive cards, full column). Activating the right trigger at the right time turns the game around.
Clears and combos
Remove cards from the grid by creating exact sums (e.g., 3+5=8) or patterns. Combos allow you to shoot multiple cards onto the opponent's grid. The satisfaction of a perfect clear is visceral.

🎲How to playThe rules in four steps▼
How to play
The flow of each round
Bullet is played in simultaneous turns (or real-time). Each turn follows this simple and deadly structure.
You draw cards from your deck until you reach your hand limit. If your opponent shot bullets at you in the previous turn, you add them to your grid from the top. The columns fill up.
Choose a card from your hand and place it in one of the four columns of the grid. You can place multiple cards if you have abilities that allow it. Each card has a number and an ability that activates under specific conditions.
If you have created a pattern (e.g., exact sum, sequence, full column), you activate your heroine's trigger. Abilities resolve in a chain: clear, draw, bullet shot, card movement. This is the heart of the game.
If you made a clear, the removed cards become bullets to shoot at opposing grids. You check if any column has exceeded the red line: if so, you are eliminated. Otherwise, next turn.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Setup and first cards
Choose your heroine. Shuffle your personal deck. Place the grid in front of you. Draw your starting hand and look at the first cards: numbers, abilities, possible patterns. Others do the same. Someone has already chosen QP and is laughing. You are studying.
First placements
The timer starts (if playing real-time) or the first round begins. You place the first card. Then the second. The grid starts to fill up. You immediately understand that every column counts: if you neglect one, in three turns it will be a problem. Someone has already made the first clear and shot two bullets on your board.
First combos and pressure
Now the grid is half full. You see the perfect combo: three cards that sum to 8, trigger activated, multiple clear. You do it. You shoot four bullets at your opponent. He curses. But in the meantime, your right column is about to overflow. You draw, place, breathe.
The critical moment
One of your columns touches the red line. You have one turn to clear or you're out. You look at your hand: is there the right card? Yes. You place it, activate your heroine's special ability, free three slots. A breath. Meanwhile, someone at the table has already been eliminated. Two remain.
Victory or elimination
The opponent has an almost empty grid. You have a perfect hand. You build the final combo: a chain clear, six bullets fired in one go. His grid explodes, crosses the line. He lost. You win. Or you are the one to overflow due to a wrong placement three turns ago. In any case, you immediately want a rematch.

Real-time mode is unforgiving
If you play with the timer, you don't have time to think. You draw, place, shoot. Whoever gets stuck thinking loses. It's frantic, chaotic, stressful. If you prefer meditative games, use the turn-based mode (included in the rules) or avoid Bullet.
Each heroine is a new mini-game
The four Orange Juice heroines have completely different decks, abilities, and triggers. Learning a new heroine takes 2-3 games to understand their rhythm. It's not plug-and-play: each character needs to be studied.
Zero downtime, but difficult coordination
In cooperative mode, everyone plays simultaneously, so no waiting. The problem: coordinating clears and mutual help in real-time is a mess. It requires group chemistry. If you play with strangers or distracted people, expect chaos.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Bullet is an elimination game. The winner is the one who remains standing or who completes the cooperative objective.
Victory
- Competitive mode: eliminate all opponents by filling their grids with bullets until they overflow
- Cooperative mode: survive together for a set number of rounds or defeat the boss pattern
- Solo mode: complete the scenario objectives without your grid exceeding the red line
Elimination or defeat
- One of your four columns exceeds the red line: you are immediately eliminated
- In cooperative mode: if even one player is eliminated, everyone loses
- You run out of deck without completing the objective or eliminating opponents
Bullet: Orange is a frantic puzzle under pressure that rewards those who can build combos, manage chaos, and shoot at the right moment. Each game is a 20-minute apnea.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about Bullet: Orange
Can I play Bullet: Orange without the Bullet♥️ base game?
Yes, Bullet: Orange is standalone: it contains everything needed to play with 1 to 4 players. You can combine it with other Bullet boxes for more heroines and variants, but it's not mandatory.
Is it better to play in real-time or turn-based mode?
It depends on the group. Real-time mode is frantic and chaotic, perfect for fast and competitive players. Turn-based mode (included in the rules) allows for calm thinking and is ideal for learning heroines or for those who prefer more meditative puzzles. Both work.
How difficult is it to learn a new heroine?
The basic rules are identical for all. The difficulty lies in the unique abilities and triggers of each Orange Juice character. Expect 2-3 games to understand the optimal rhythm of a new heroine. Sora, QP, Suguri, and the others have completely different styles.
Does it work well solo?
Yes. Bullet includes official solo scenarios with boss patterns that simulate opponents controlled by event decks. The experience is tense and complete, although you obviously lose direct interaction with human players. Great for practice.
What mechanics does Bullet: Orange use?
Hand management, grid movement, pattern matching, real-time or turn-based (hybrid mode). It also includes cooperative mode and player elimination in competitive mode. It's an action puzzle with asymmetric abilities.
Is it available in Italian?
No, this edition is in English. Text on cards is present but limited (symbols and numbers are the main part). Knowledge of English is necessary to read the unique abilities of the heroines and the rulebook.
