The Black Death expansion brings a dark new challenge to the world of Orléans , the celebrated medieval strategy board game . The population is on its knees, death creeps everywhere... and your followers risk dropping like flies.
🦠 With the introduction of Rat cards and corpse tokens , every turn becomes a race to contain the contagion. Stocks dwindle, market space shrinks, and new events make the plague's advance ever more pressing.
🙏 To counter the disaster, you can count on a powerful ally: the Plague Doctor , a new minion who can act (almost) every round. You can also obtain indulgence cards , which can be completed with donations or pilgrimages, to purify your bag and earn precious points.

🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1 Each round introduces plague-related events, which can limit available actions or increase the costs of operations, making planning more complex.
2 Corpse tokens are added to the follower bag and, if drawn, take up valuable space in the market, hindering actions.
3 To remove corpse tokens, players can complete indulgence cards through pilgrimages, donations, or other conditions, also scoring victory points.
4 The plague doctor is a new figure available in almost every round, usable in any action to mitigate the effects of the plague.
The game ends after 18 rounds; the player with the most victory points wins, also taking into account the new dynamics introduced by the plague.
