The FroGames Card
Someone rolls the dice, someone drinks, someone curses the Kunken monster. Eight at the table, eight glasses to keep an eye on, and in the end, no one remembers what you were called before you became Tipple.
WHAT IT IS
When six heroes are no longer enough and the dungeon calls for reinforcements
Heroes of Barcadia Party Pack is the expansion that takes the base game by Madison O'Neil up to eight players. From the lands on the edge of Barcadia come two new heroes: Tipple the Half Pint and Maltilda the Stout-Hearted, ready to join the most chaotic drinking competition in the realm. The expansion adds everything needed to expand the party: two Health Bar glasses with the new characters, 18 new waterproof dungeon tiles, 34 Loot cards, 10 Power-Up cards, 2 20-sided dice, and the new heroes' Signature Move cards.
The mechanism remains the same as the base game: build the dungeon with tiles, explore, face monsters by rolling dice, and drink when you take damage. Your glass is your health bar, thanks to the Liquid Life System. The expansion brings new enemies like The Kunken and Phoenix Colada, more variety in cards, and more chaos to the table. It requires the base game to function, but transforms average board game sessions into epic gatherings.

— Rollacrit
Two more characters at the table means double the chances of someone finishing their drink at the wrong time. And that's always the right time for a laugh.

🎲How to playThe rules in four steps▼
How to play
The flow of each turn
Each player performs four actions on their turn, then passes to the next. With eight players, turns go fast.
You move your Health Bar glass to an adjacent tile. If the tile is covered, you reveal it. If there's a monster, you must face it before entering.
You roll the 20-sided die against the monster's difficulty. If you win, you enter the room and collect any rewards (Loot, Power-Up). If you lose, you take damage and drink from your glass.
You can play Loot cards from your hand to help yourself or sabotage opponents. Collected Power-Ups give you permanent abilities. Character Signature Moves add unique actions.
If the liquid in your glass drops below the critical threshold marked on the side, you are eliminated. Otherwise, you continue. The first to reach the Grand Drink Guardian and defeat it wins.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table with eight players
Not the rules. The experience.
The dungeon multiplies
Eight players build the dungeon together, placing tiles. The table fills up quickly, tiles intertwine, someone messes up the orientation and someone else points it out laughing. Glasses are full, characters chosen. The Grand Drink Guardian waits somewhere at the end of the maze.
First dice rolls, first victims
Turns go fast: move your glass, reveal the adjacent tile, roll the die to face the monster. Someone rolls an 18, enters the room laughing. Someone rolls a 3, loses the fight and has to drink for the damage taken. The Liquid Life System starts doing its job: glasses empty at different rates.
Loot cards come into play
Someone collects a Loot card by defeating a monster and immediately uses it against the leading player. Effects that force drinking, block moves, or overturn situations. With eight players, cards circulate quickly and no one is ever safe. Tacit alliances are born and die in one turn.
Someone gets eliminated
A player finishes their drink: eliminated. Their character leaves the dungeon, they stay to watch (and comment). With eight at the table, elimination is probable, but whoever exits first becomes the best commentator of the evening. The others run, drink, roll dice with increasing desperation.
Someone reaches the Grand Drink Guardian
A survivor reaches the final tile, faces the drinkable boss. Rolls the die, wins or loses, drinks or triumphs. The others applaud or boo. The glasses on the table tell who suffered the most. End of the game, beginning of stories that will be told for weeks.

Three honest things about Heroes of Barcadia Party Pack
Base game required
This is an expansion, not a standalone game. You cannot play without the base Heroes of Barcadia game. It only adds components to accommodate up to eight players and vary games. If you don't have the base game, buy that first.
Someone must drink (or find alternatives)
The Liquid Life System is the heart of the game: when you take damage, you drink. You can use any liquid (water, juice, soft drinks, alcohol), but the mechanism remains the same. If someone at the table doesn't want to or can't drink, the game loses its meaning for them. The 21+ age is indicative of the adult theme and concept, not a legal obligation in Italy.
Eight players = total chaos
With eight at the table, the game becomes chaotic. Downtime is reduced because turns are fast, but attention and strategy decrease. Perfect for noisy parties, less for those seeking control or tactics. Early elimination is possible: whoever exits early spends the rest of the game watching.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Single victory or elimination: Heroes of Barcadia has a clear winner and obvious losers.
Victory
- Reach the Grand Drink Guardian tile before others
- Defeat it by rolling the die and overcoming its difficulty
- Survive the final encounter without emptying your glass: you are the champion of Barcadia
Elimination
- The liquid in your glass drops below the minimum marked threshold: you are eliminated
- Another player reaches and defeats the Grand Drink Guardian before you: you have lost
- You get stuck by Loot cards or bad luck with dice while others advance: game over
Heroes of Barcadia Party Pack doesn't promise deep strategy or perfect balance. It promises eight people laughing, drinking, and rolling dice in an absurd fantasy dungeon. And it delivers.

FAQ about Heroes of Barcadia Party Pack
Can I play with fewer than eight players even with this expansion?
Yes, the expansion adds components and characters, but you can use it with any number of players from 2 to 8. The two new characters (Tipple and Maltilda) can also be used in games with 4-6 players. The extra tiles and cards simply increase variety.
Are the components really waterproof?
Yes, all cards and tiles are made of 100% waterproof PVC, just like in the base game. They are resistant to splashes, spilled drinks, and moisture. The Health Bar glasses are dishwasher safe. It's designed to survive lively evenings.
What happens if someone doesn't want to drink alcohol?
The game works with any liquid: water, juice, soft drinks, iced tea. The Liquid Life System mechanism counts the volume drunk, not the content. The 21+ age on the box refers to the adult and humorous theme, it's not an obligation to drink alcohol.
What mechanics does Heroes of Barcadia use?
Procedural dungeon crawling with modular tiles, roll and move with 20-sided dice, hand management for Loot cards, Power-Up collection, player elimination. The Liquid Life System is the distinctive mechanic: the glass is the physical life bar.
Is it available in Italian?
This edition of Heroes of Barcadia Party Pack is in Italian, localized by Cranio Creations. All cards, tiles, and the rulebook are translated. It requires the Italian base game Heroes of Barcadia to function.
