In Tax the Rich you don't just play cards: you're wielding satire, revolution, and power . From the poor man on the street to the President, each character has his weight… at least until the social pyramid is overturned by a sensational Revolution at the table . Suddenly, those who were unimportant become the strongest, and those who were at the top risk a disastrous fall.
It's a fast and nasty trick-taking game , where you'll have to team up at the right time, bluff without scruples and decide whether it's worth it Climb the ladder or set fire to the foundations. 🐸 HOW TO PLAY
1. Start with the auction phase
At the beginning of each round, players hold a quick auction : the winner decides the trump suit and how many tricks he and his ally must take to earn bonus points.
2. Play like a classic catch… almost
The core of the game is a trick-taking mechanic : cards higher in social rank (from Pauper to President) beat those lower in rank. But society is unstable and can be overturned at any moment.
3. Unleash the Revolution
If you have only cards with the flag symbol left, you can declare a revolution : from that moment on, the lowest-ranking cards become the strongest. But be careful: you play the rest of the round with your cards face up!
4. Harness the powers of the professions
Thirteen role cards grant special abilities: Workers can unite, Millionaires attempt coups, Police monitor, and Scientists debunk lies. Each scenario with these rules adds variety and surprises.
5. Whoever accumulates the most prestige points wins
At the end, the player (or team) with the most points wins the game. With the optional Feminist Revolution variant, female characters gain more power, adding an additional tactical and political layer.

Tax the Rich is a trick-taking board game for 3–6 players , with quick play lasting 20–30 minutes.
The cards represent characters from every social class, from the poorest to the President, and follow the classic trick-taking game rules. But there's a twist: you can trigger a revolution that overturns the hierarchy, making the weakest the most powerful. Plus, thanks to the 13 variable rule cards , each game takes on unique scenarios, with thematic powers that add humor and variety. It's a strategic and satirical party game , ideal for groups who love fast-paced, witty games full of twists and turns.

During a revolution, you play with your cards face up, exposing yourself to others but gaining unexpected power. In some variations, you can even trigger a feminist revolution , which valorizes all the female figures in the game. It's a simple but ingenious system, which transforms a classic trick-taking game into a social and political challenge disguised as lighthearted fun .
