In Intrigues at Court it's not enough to make a good impression: you have to move the right families , shift the balance at the Queen's table and leave the counting of your low blows to others. It's a quick and sharp party game for family tables and groups of friends: light rules, bad choices at the right point, inevitable laughter.
Each turn you play three cards : one goes to the Queen's table to raise or lower the influence of one family; the other two end up in domains (yours and an opponent's). The twist? Their value depends on how the families close at the end of the game. What counts here is nerve, table reading, and timing: the right hand, at the right time, changes everything.

Intrigues at court
In Courtisans, players take on the role of families competing to win the queen's favor during a sumptuous banquet. The goal is to manipulate influence at the table and skillfully place cards to maximize your points.
Three cards in turn
Each turn, you play three cards: one is placed on the queen's table to influence a family's reputation, while the other two are placed in domains—yours and an opponent's. Choosing where to place the positive or negative values is the heart of the strategy.
Changing influences
Families can gain or lose prestige during the game depending on the cards played at the table. This means that cards that initially seem advantageous can turn into a burden... or vice versa.
Personal and adversarial domains
The cards in the domains determine the final score, but their value will depend on the status achieved by the families. Knowing when to strengthen yourself or sabotage others is crucial to maintaining your advantage.
Victory among deceptions
At the end of the game, the player with the most influence points is recognized as the most skilled orchestrator of the evening. In Courtisans , each turn is a balance of bluff, calculation, and low blows… because in court, appearances are everything.
