FroGames — Moments to Remember
The mansion is dark, ghosts hide in the shadows. You have six flashlights and only one way to aim them: find it, and every specter will be revealed.
What it's about
Aim the flashlights and illuminate every ghost
Ever wondered what ghosts get up to in a haunted mansion? Ghost Hunters by SmartGames lets you find out using your brain: in each challenge, you must illuminate all the hidden specters by correctly placing the transparent flashlight tiles. A spooky and fun theme, a puzzle that makes your mind work.
Here's how to play: choose a challenge card and place it on the board, then arrange the six transparent tiles on top. Each has a flashlight beam printed on it, and the goal is to interlock them all so that every ghost ends up in the circle of light. There's only one solution per challenge — and finding it is all the fun.
Sixty challenges of increasing difficulty, from 5 years old up to expert (from Starter to Master). Ghost Hunters trains concentration, logic, problem-solving, spatial intuition, and visual perception. No luck, no dice: just reasoning. And the board also doubles as a case, so you can take it anywhere.
The twist is transparency: the tiles overlap the card, and each projects a beam of light. You must place all six so that no ghost remains in the dark.
The secret of Ghost Hunters in one line
Funny, not scary ghosts: the atmosphere makes the little ones smile and the puzzle challenges the adults. A classic light thrill that grows with the player.
From the game experience
Ghost Hunters
In the mansion
What you hold in your hands
6 flashlight tiles
Transparent, each projects a beam of light. They must all be interlocked on the card to leave no shadowed areas.
The ghosts
Printed on the challenge cards. The challenge is solved only when each one ends up within the circle of a light beam.
30 challenge cards
60 different arrangements, from Starter to Master. Choose the card, place it on the board, and a new puzzle begins.
The board-case
The board with a lid also serves as a portable box: close everything inside and take it traveling without losing pieces.
Lights out, last flashlight in the right place, and the whole mansion suddenly lights up: no ghost has escaped. It always happens with Ghost Hunters.

A five-step challenge
What happens when you play
Not the rules. The experience.
Choose the next challenge
Draw one of the 60 cards and look at it: the ghosts are scattered in the mansion, some close, others in the corners. The first challenges are gentle, while the Master levels will have you rotating the flashlights all over the place.
Place the card on the board
You place the card and the mansion comes to life: here's where the ghosts hide. You already know there's only one way to illuminate them all. All that's left is to discover it, tile by tile.
The first flashlights on the table
You place two transparent tiles: two ghosts light up in the beams of light. But a third doesn't fit where you want it to, and a corner of the mansion remains in total darkness.
The "here's the right light" moment
You rotate one tile, move another, and suddenly everything clicks into place: the beams align and every ghost left in the shadows ends up under a circle of light.
All ghosts illuminated
The last tile snaps into place and the mansion is all lit up: no ghost has escaped. A moment of satisfaction — and your eye is already on the next card.
How to play
Four steps for each challenge
You learn in a minute and play for hours. No rules to remember: just logic, visual perception, and the right fits.
From the 60 available on 30 cards, from Starter level to expert Master. Place it on the board.
The six transparent tiles, each with its printed beam of light, are your only tools.
Arrange all the tiles on the card so that every ghost ends up within the circle of a beam of light.
The challenge is solved when every ghost is illuminated. There is only one correct solution for each.
Why it works so well
Six things that make it special
Transparent light tiles
The mechanic that makes it unique: the pieces are transparent and overlap the card, each with its own beam. Seeing how the light falls is half the puzzle.
Every ghost in the beam
The constraint that makes you rack your brain: it's not enough to fit the tiles, every ghost must fall exactly within a circle of light. A dark corner and the challenge is not solved.
60 challenges from Starter to Master
A curve that starts gently for the little ones and reaches truly tricky arrangements. It grows with the player and keeps children and adults engaged.
Logic and visual perception
Concentration, problem-solving, and spatial intuition: you learn to imagine where the light will fall even before placing the tile.
Spooky but for kids
Funny ghosts and a slightly thrilling atmosphere: the theme entertains the little ones without scaring them. Perfect from age 5, also for Halloween nights.
Travel board-case
A classic SmartGames where the board also acts as a case: close everything inside and take it in the car, on the train, or in your suitcase without losing pieces.
How to solve it
A clear objective, a single solution
Each challenge has a unique correct arrangement of the six flashlights. The beauty—and difficulty—is finding the fits that don't leave even one ghost in the shadows.
Challenge overcome
- All six flashlight tiles are placed on the card
- Every ghost is within the circle of a beam of light
- No ghost is left in the dark: mansion illuminated
When you get stuck
- A ghost remains in the shadows, outside of any beam
- The tiles don't all fit on the card
- No problem: move and rotate the flashlights and try again
Ghost Hunters is one of those puzzles you open "for five minutes" and close half an hour later, with the whole mansion illuminated and the desire to try another one right away. Quick to learn, hard to put down.
Frequently Asked Questions
Ghost Hunters FAQ
Is a ghost game scary for children?
No. The ghosts in Ghost Hunters are funny and cartoonish, the atmosphere is lightly thrilling and fun, not scary. It's designed for ages 5 and up specifically for younger children: the "ghost hunt" effect is playful, also perfect for family Halloween nights.
From 5 years old: isn't it too easy for an adult?
The light theme is deceiving. Challenges range from Starter to Master: the first ones are immediate for children, but expert levels require fitting six transparent tiles with only one possible arrangement, and make adults think quite a bit too. It's a beloved classic because it works for all ages.
How difficult are the challenges?
They range from the almost immediate Starter level to the true puzzle Master level. The curve is gradual: you grow with the game, and each level prepares you for the next. Suitable for both children and adults looking for a brain-teaser.
How do the transparent tiles work?
They are six transparent pieces, each with a flashlight beam printed on it. You place them on top of the challenge card (placed on the board) and fit them all together: where a beam falls, the ghost underneath is "illuminated". The goal is to arrange them so that no ghost remains in the dark.
Is it suitable for travel and as a gift?
It's one of its best features. The board also acts as a case: you close tiles and cards inside and take it in the car, on the train, or in a waiting room without losing pieces. A charming theme and immediate rules also make it a great gift for ages 5 and up.
Do you need to know English?
No. The challenge cards are visual patterns, and the game is solved by arranging the tiles: it's immediately clear what to do without needing to read text. It's a puzzle played with eyes and logic.
