1. Epic duels inspired by Japanese mythology
In Unmatched – Sun's Origin , you fight as legends of the Land of the Rising Sun, such as Oda Nobunaga , the ruthless warlord, or Tomoe Gozen , the famous onna-bugeisha. Each character has a completely asymmetrical style, mechanics, and deck .
2. Each hero has unique abilities and a well-defined strategy
Oda Nobunaga dominates with military might and his followers, while Tomoe Gozen rewards precision and honor with lightning-fast combos. As in every Unmatched game , choosing the right character for your playstyle is crucial.
3. The heart of the game is always card combat
Each turn, you can move, attack, or activate special effects by playing cards from your deck. Combat is resolved through bluffing and tactics: each card chosen is a resource that won't return... unless special effects are used.
4. Positioning and zone of influence matter as much as brute force
