WHAT IT IS
A battle for the Earth's energy, fought with stones and wisdom
The Lung Mei — dragon paths — are the lines of energy that cross the Earth. They derive from the Four Propitious Beasts: the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise of the North. When a path runs straight, energy accumulates. When it hits a mountain, it dissipates. Azure is created by Trevor Benjamin and Brett J. Gilbert (Restore, Break the Code), illustrated by Kwanchai Moriya, and is part of the Mythos Collection by Bitewing Games: abstract games rooted in mythology.
On your turn, you place a stone on an empty space on the modular board. You pay the cost in qi cards (the domain color tells you which qi is needed, the symbols on the space indicate how much). You collect the rewards of the covered space. You advance on the wisdom track if you control more spaces of a certain color. And if the conditions are right, you summon a Propitious Beast to your side. The first to reach the end of the wisdom path wins.

What you use to control the Lung Mei
Stones
Place one stone per turn. Cover a space, collect its rewards, pay the cost in qi. Each stone changes the board's value for both players.
Qi Cards
Four colors of energy. These are used to pay for the cost of spaces (domain color + number of symbols). You collect them from the spaces you cover or through special actions.
Propitious Beasts
Dragon, Bird, Tiger, Tortoise. If you control their domain color, you summon them. Each provides a unique advantage and wisdom points. They can turn the tide of the game.
Gifted Module
Asymmetric, one-time-use abilities for expert players. They change the starting strategy and force different plans from game to game.
