Designed by Roger Tankersley and David Thompson, Sniper Elite: The Board Game translates the tension of the Rebellion video game into an asymmetric tactical duel. One player is the Allied sniper infiltrating behind enemy lines, while up to three others control the Wehrmacht squads that must track them down. The miniatures by Jose David Lanza Cebrian and Edouard Grould bring World War II to the table from a top-down view, with modular maps and hidden position markers.
The sniper moves in secret by noting coordinates, carries out sabotage, and prepares the perfect ambush by drawing tokens from a personal bag to calculate accuracy and damage. The defenders patrol areas, place reinforcements, and modify the sniper's bag by adding error tokens when they locate them. Each shot fired reveals the position: you must choose whether to eliminate a target now or wait for them to group up. The guards must balance defending objectives with hunting, because time is running against them.

The experience is complete and maintains all the tension, but obviously loses the psychological bluffing and the human unpredictability of the defenders trying to anticipate your moves.

Your infiltration gear
Sniper bag
You draw tokens to calculate precision and damage. Defenders add error tokens to it when they locate you: your bag gets worse as you are discovered. You have to shoot before it becomes useless.
Modular maps
Tiles that make up Allied campaign scenarios in France. Cover, buildings, shadow zones. The sniper marks coordinates on a sheet; defenders only see miniatures and zone markers when they spot them.
Wehrmacht miniatures
German soldiers, officers, motorized patrols. Each type has different movement, vision, and resistance. Defenders place them to cover objectives and tighten the circle around the hidden sniper.
Action cards
Special abilities for both sides: booby traps, targeted shots, emergency reinforcements. Manage your hand for critical moments: a wasted card can cost you the mission.
