Forget the dice. In Railroad Tiles, roads, tracks, and cities come to life thanks to your strategic choices. This family board game , born as an evolution of the popular Railroad Ink, challenges you to build your own network of connections with tiles placed with almost Zen-like care… but with the tension of true urban planning.
In each round, you'll choose tiles from a common pool, creating increasingly extensive connections between roads, railways, cities, and stations. But beware: each choice is final and pushes you into an increasingly narrow spatial puzzle. You can also populate your landscape with cars, trains, and travelers—if you have the space and the right vision!

What changes at the table
Same basic rules. New world.
Choose the world for the evening
Open the expansion drawer. Lakes or desert tonight? Canals or monuments? The choice is already half the fun — and completely changes the game you'll play.
The bag is shuffled
The expansion tiles are placed in the bag along with the base tiles, according to a pre-defined mix. The total number remains the same, but what comes out each round is a completely different story.
A new mechanic comes into play
A lake becomes a giant station. An electric cable runs along the corners. An archaeologist sets out to find excavation sites. The rule that wasn't there last night now decides the game.
The combination that didn't exist before
Close a five-tile canal, complete a set of desert attractions, fill a pasture with sheep. Combos that the base game couldn't give you — and that you now look for every turn.
And tomorrow a different world
After the game, you put the expansion away and already think of another for tomorrow. Eight boxes, eight experiences — the same game you love, always new.

No new manual to study: the expansions integrate with the basic rules with a few additional rules.
Only one thematic expansion per game: this way the duration remains around the usual 30 minutes.
The expansion tiles join the base ones according to the indicated mix. Same number of tiles, different flow.

Can I play the expansions without the base game?
No. This is a set of expansions and requires Railroad Tiles — Base Game to function. The expansions add tiles, pawns, and rules to those of the base game, but do not contain the fundamental materials to play. If you don't have the base game yet, get that first (or the complete bundle).
Are eight expansions too many to manage?
No, because you don't use them all together. You play only one thematic expansion per game: each changes the flow and introduces a different terrain, pawns, and objectives, keeping the duration at about 30 minutes. Having them all simply means being able to choose the world for the evening — not complicating the table.
Is the set more convenient than buying them individually?
The set collects all eight expansions published by Cranio Creations at once: it's the ideal choice for those who already love Railroad Tiles and want to complete their collection without worries. No missing expansions, no multiple orders.
Which expansion should I start with?
The Forest is classified as "easy": great for a first try or for playing with beginners. The World expansion is perfect as a second step, because it adds variety without a new thematic mechanic to learn. Then feel free to move on to Canals, Energy, Desert, and the others.
Can I combine multiple expansions in the same game?
Generally, you play only one thematic expansion at a time. The only exception is the World expansion, specifically designed to combine with the base game and any other expansion, adding objectives and special pawns.
