The FroGames Profile
Open the box. Shuffle the quests. Read the traits: this one forces you to discard, that one gives you a bonus if you use red. You start planning the order. Then you realize the plan doesn't hold up and you have to adapt every round—exactly like the edition that has already won over the international community.
WHAT IT IS
A guild puzzle that changes its look, not its design
Gamma Guild debuted in 2024 as a pocket-sized solo game by Jacob Haydel, with illustrations by Lorenzo Uccheddu, published in a mint tin by Goblin Hour Games. That first edition earned a solid 8.0/10 on BoardGameGeek with over 170 ratings: the community considers it a dense tactical puzzle, not just a simple filler game in a small tin.
What you find here is the new edition, published by Juegorama as part of the Microrama Collection and currently available as a Late Pledge on Gamefound, with estimated delivery in November 2026. The format has changed: it is no longer a mint tin, but a standard compact box, in line with the other three titles in the collection. The design remains the original one—you manage your guild, assign members to quests, unlock upgrades—but the components and packaging have been reimagined for this new printing.
The guild council gives you 12 days to complete 12 missions, under penalty of losing your license: every card left in the deck is a day you have remaining. No dice, just choices—and 13 guild upgrades to unlock and reuse, just like in the original edition.
What they say abroad
"Gamma Guild is a quick, solo, fantasy themed game that takes roughly 8-15 minutes to setup and play."
— Goblin Hour Games
This review refers to the original mint tin edition: the new Microrama printing does not have its own reviews yet. The design is the same, the production has changed—we will update this profile as soon as we have played the new edition ourselves.

Gamma Guild — New Microrama edition
Designed exclusively for solo play in both editions. There is no multiplayer mode: you manage the guild, assign members to quests, and unlock upgrades to reuse in subsequent games, all by yourself against the 12-day countdown.
What's in the box
Components of the new edition
50 cards total
Confirmed by Gamefound: the box contains 50 cards including quests, guild members, and upgrades. The exact breakdown by type is not yet specified by the publisher.
Quest Cards
Each with a trait that alters gameplay and can influence nearby quests. They are the heart of the puzzle: decide which one to tackle first based on their effect.
Guild Member Cards
Your hand of adventurers. You assign them to quests efficiently to complete them all before the available days run out.
Compact box
No longer a metal mint tin: the new edition comes in a compact rigid box, in line with the other titles in the Microrama collection.
The same guild puzzle that won over the international community, in a new guise. The substance remains the same: 12 days, 12 quests, and a hand that is never enough for everything.

🎲How to playThe rules in four steps▼
How to play
The flow of each round
The game is a cycle of drafting, assigning, and resolving. Repeat until all quests are completed or you run out of cards.
Draw up to your hand limit (the number varies based on the upgrades you've unlocked). This is your pool of guild members for the round.
Choose one or more quests and assign cards from your hand to meet the requirements. The quest trait applies during or after assignment, and can alter adjacent quests.
Complete the quests for which you have met the requirements. Some give you guild upgrades, others force you to discard cards, and others change the rules for subsequent quests.
Check how many quests remain and how many days you have left — the deck that depletes is your countdown. If you complete all the quests before the days run out, you have saved the guild.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
The experience described is that of the original design — the new Microrama edition promises to keep it intact, changing only the production.
Setup and first read
You draw the quests from the deck, lay them out in front of you, and read their traits. "This one forces me to discard two cards after completing it. That one gives me a bonus if I use red." You start to see the optimal order. Or at least you think so.
First assignments
Draw your starting hand. Assign the first members to the easiest quests. The first quest's trait triggers, and you realize that the sequence you had in mind doesn't work: that trait forces you to change your strategy immediately.
Optimization under pressure
You are halfway through the quests. Your hand is thinning, and the traits of the remaining quests are all tough. You have to decide whether to complete an easy but low-reward quest or risk it on a difficult one that would give you an important upgrade. Every card counts.
The critical moment
Only a few quests remain. You have few cards in hand. One of the quests has a trait that forces you to discard two cards after completion. If you do it now, you risk not having enough cards for the final ones. If you put it off, it might become impossible. Decide.
Completion and evaluation
Last quest resolved. You count how many cards you wasted and look at which upgrades you've unlocked. You wonder if you could have done better. Reshuffle and try again with a new combination of quests, because now you have one extra upgrade.

Know before you buy
Three things to know about the new edition
It hasn't been released yet
This is the new Microrama print, currently in Late Pledge on Gamefound: estimated delivery is November 2026. It is not the 2024 mint tin that already has reviews — you can only find that on BGG.
English text on every card
Every quest has a trait written in English that alters the rules. This is not a language-independent game: you must read and understand the text in every game.
50 cards, breakdown not yet known
Gamefound confirms 50 total cards in the box, but does not yet specify how many are quests, how many are guild members, and how many are upgrades. We will update the page as soon as Juegorama publishes the final details.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
You win if you complete all the drawn quests before running out of the deck. You lose if you run out of cards with quests still open.
Victory
- Complete all quests drawn at the start of the game
- Unlock permanent upgrades that you will use in future games
- Optimize the resolution order and minimize card waste
Defeat
- Run out of the deck or hand before completing all quests
- Assign cards inefficiently and get stuck
- A quest trait forces you to discard too many cards and you can't recover
A compact puzzle that forces you to think for half an hour. Every quest combination is a different problem to solve, and the upgrades will keep you coming back.

Frequently asked questions
FAQ on Gamma Guild — New Microrama Edition
Is this new edition still a mint tin?
No. The 2024 edition by Goblin Hour Games was in a mint tin. This new edition, published by Juegorama in the Microrama Collection series, arrives in a standard compact box, no longer in metal.
Is it the same game as the 2024 edition?
Yes, same design by Jacob Haydel with illustrations by Lorenzo Uccheddu. The production and packaging change, not the game, which has already achieved an 8.0/10 on BoardGameGeek.
Can I buy it now?
It is currently in Late Pledge on Gamefound, with estimated delivery in November 2026. Therefore, it is not a product ready for immediate shipping.
How long does a game actually last?
Gamefound indicates 20-30 minutes for the new edition (the original mint tin version was 8-15 minutes). The setup remains fast: shuffle, draw the quests, start.
What is a quest trait?
Every quest has a special effect written on the card or tile that alters the rules for that quest. Typical examples: discard cards after completion, bonuses for specific colors, variable costs. Traits are the heart of the game.
What are guild upgrades?
They are permanent abilities that you unlock by completing certain quests and that you can use in subsequent games. In the original edition, there were 13: increase hand limit, draw extra cards, reduce costs.
How many cards are in the box?
Gamefound confirms 50 total cards including quests, guild members, and upgrades. The exact breakdown by type has not yet been detailed by the publisher.
Is it part of a larger collection?
Yes. Gamma Guild is one of four titles in Juegorama's Microrama Collection, along with Deck 52: Final Bus, Infinity Rogue: Space Dungeon, and City of Fury. Each box is standalone and playable on its own.
How much replayability does it have?
A lot: the quests are drawn from a larger pool every game, so the combination changes each time. The unlockable upgrades add even more variety from one game to the next.
Is it available in Italian? Do I need to know English?
The edition on sale is in English. Every quest has a trait written in English that you must read and apply: English is necessary to play. There are currently no official Italian translations.
