FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Cards fly, someone laughs, someone complains because they lost by a whisker. Then they're redealt, and the game starts again. And no one wants to stop.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
Reflexes, chopsticks and sushi jumping on the table
Super Sushi is the latest creation by Veronika Malacic for The World Game, released in 2025. A party game of reflexes and pattern recognition that puts foam sushi-shaped components and pairs of chopsticks at center stage. Rules explained in a minute, games that start right away.
You flip cards quickly, one after another. When two cards match, you and the other player must grab the right sushi with your chopsticks. If an action card appears, everyone performs the indicated gesture and then rushes for the sushi. Whoever loses the duel takes the cards. The first to get rid of their deck wins. Children can use their hands instead of chopsticks.
What they're saying abroad
It's the game you put on the table when you want to hear screams and laughter in the first 30 seconds.
— FroGames
The chopsticks add clumsiness. And that's exactly what you need.

Super Sushi
What's in the box
Components designed to last (and make you laugh)
Foam sushi
Colorful, soft pieces that jump when you grab them wrong. Durable even after 100 games with kids.
Chopsticks
One pair per player. Grabbing sushi with chopsticks is harder than it looks. And much more fun.
Game cards
Clear and colorful illustrations. Recognize patterns on the fly, or trigger an action and everyone moves together.
Action cards
Gestures to do all together before pouncing on the sushi. They add unpredictability and absurd moments.
In five minutes, someone will have sent a foam sushi flying across the table. And everyone will want to play again immediately.
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The start
Cards dealt, chopsticks picked up. Some hold them like cutlery, others like swords. Everyone looks at their deck. We start together, no turns, just cards flipping fast.
The first match
Two identical cards. The race for sushi begins. One grabs, the other protests they were first. Chopsticks slip, sushi rolls. Instant laughter. The loser takes the cards, and the game restarts.
The action card
The action card appears. Everyone has to make the right gesture and then grab. Someone makes the wrong gesture, someone else immediately pounces. Total confusion, sushi flying, arms crossed. Nobody knows who won the round anymore.
The comeback
One player has few cards, about to win. The others gang up: faster cards, sharper reflexes. The advantage narrows. Every card counts. Chopsticks tremble, tension rises. Then another match, and everything changes again.
The last card
Someone flips the last card, wins, and raises their chopsticks in triumph. The others protest, demanding an immediate rematch. Shuffle the decks, redeal, and start over. Because one game is never enough.
How to play
The flow of each round
There are no turns. Everyone plays simultaneously, flipping cards and reacting. The pace is frantic.
Each player flips a card from their deck, quickly. The cards remain face up in front of you, in a visible pile.
If your card matches another player's card, a duel begins: you must grab the corresponding sushi with your chopsticks. The first to grab wins.
If you flip an action card, everyone must perform the indicated gesture and then grab the sushi. Guaranteed confusion, frequent errors, assured laughter.
The loser of the duel collects all cards played so far by the others and adds them to their own deck. Then the round restarts. The first to run out of cards wins.
Why it's different from others
Six reasons why it works (even with kids)
Foam sushi that withstands everything
These are not cardboard tokens. They are soft, three-dimensional components, designed to be grabbed, thrown, rolled. They withstand games with six-year-olds and competitive adults. Aesthetically fun, tactually satisfying.
Chopsticks make everything clumsier
Grabbing with chopsticks is harder than with hands. It adds a layer of physical clumsiness that turns every duel into a comedic scene. Children can play with their hands, maintaining the frantic pace without frustration.
Action cards that break the rhythm
Not just speed matching. Action cards force everyone to make a gesture before grabbing. Clap hands, touch the table, raise arms. The brain must switch between visual recognition and motor command. Controlled chaos.
Lightning-fast games, infinite replays
A game lasts between 5 and 20 minutes. There's no mental strain, no strategic fatigue. Finish, reshuffle, replay. Perfect as a game night opener, a filler between heavier games, or a party closer when it's late and nobody wants to think.
Scales from 6 years old to adults
The rules are immediate for children, but the game doesn't bore adults. Reflexes have no age. A six-year-old can beat an adult if they have a faster hand. Perfect balance for mixed family-friend evenings.
Zero text, playable anywhere
The cards use only symbols and illustrations. No reading required. You can play with people who speak different languages, or take it traveling without localization issues. Universally designed.
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
There is only one goal: to get rid of all your cards before the others. Whoever succeeds wins the game.
Victory
- You flip the last card of your deck and win the duel
- You have no more cards in hand: you're out and you've won
- The other players continue among themselves if you want to decide second place
Card accumulation (progressive loss)
- You lose a duel: you take all the cards played by the others
- You make the wrong action gesture: you take cards as a penalty
- You accumulate too much: your deck grows and victory moves further away
Super Sushi is the party game that requires no mental setup. Open it, explain it, play it. And then play it again immediately.
Frequently asked questions
FAQ about Super Sushi
Can children really use chopsticks?
The rules state that children can play with their hands instead of chopsticks. This puts them on the same level as adults in terms of speed, without frustrating anyone. Adults can choose whether to use chopsticks (more fun, clumsier) or hands (more competitive).
How many games can be played in an evening?
It depends on how much you like chaos. A game lasts between 5 and 20 minutes depending on the number of players and duels. In an hour, you can easily play 4-6 games. It's the kind of game that repeats until someone decides to stop.
Does it also work well with two players?
Yes, the game scales from 2 to 6. With two, it's more direct: each match is a one-on-one duel, fast-paced. Adding players increases chaos, multiple matches, involuntary alliances. It works well in both configurations, with different experiences.
Is the foam sushi durable?
Yes. They are designed to withstand repeated games, even with children throwing or squeezing them. The foam is soft but compact, not easily deformed. After dozens of games, they remain in excellent condition.
Is the game in Italian?
This edition is in English, but the game contains no text. The cards use only symbols and illustrations, so the rulebook's language is the only thing to translate. Once you learn the rules (which are immediate), you don't need to read anything else.
