1. Lead your fiefdom under the gaze of Frederick II.
Each player takes on the role of a vassal of the Emperor , ready to expand their dominion in the Mediterranean. The goal is to develop their kingdom as best as possible, efficiently managing allies, castles, and action cards . A strategic board game for experts , set in medieval Europe.
2. Choose stocks with an elegant and competitive system.
The heart of the game is the action card selection system , which determines not only what you can do, but also how the balance of power will shift in Frederick's court. Some actions trigger imperial edicts , modifying rewards and penalties for all players.
3. Upgrade your castle and develop your kingdom.
You can build towers, walls, and keeps to enhance your management: more space for resources, more allies to control, more flexibility in your actions. Each improvement offers you concrete advantages in a modular and deep development system, typical of a competitive management board game .
4. Summon allies and promote specialists.
During the game, you can recruit allies from various regions of the Mediterranean and promote specialists to your kingdom. Each choice determines bonuses, synergies, and alternative ways to earn points. Sometimes it pays to remain loyal to the Emperor... but other times not.
5. Whoever builds the most influential kingdom wins.
