FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Five golden pawns, five different stories. They replace wood, but what really changes is the table around them.
What it is
The upgrade that transforms Georgian London into a little tabletop jewel
Molly House tells the story of the molly lives in early 18th-century London — a world of clandestine balls, alleyways, complicity, and betrayal. Wehrlegig Games thought that such a special game deserved pawns befitting the story it tells.
Five metal pawns, one for each player, inspired by Georgian chess pieces but with a unique touch — gilded, slightly antiqued, each one different from the others. Each pawn has a felt base that protects the board, and your hand glides from one room to another without scratches.
They don't change the game. They change how the game looks on the table. The first time you take them out of the box, someone will ask you: "Can I have that one?"
The idea behind the design
Georgian chess pieces reinterpreted with a queer twist — classic enough to look period, unique enough not to be confused with any other game.
The aesthetic of the pawns in one line
The wood in the base box does its job. These pawns do something more: they demand to be noticed, picked up, looked at closely before being placed on the alley or in the room.
From the game experience
Requires Molly House base game
This is a cosmetic accessory — not a standalone game. The five pawns replace the standard wooden ones included in the Molly House box. Without the base game, they cannot be used.
What's in the box
Four details that make a difference
5 unique pawns
A different pawn for each player. Same visual language, five recognizable silhouettes — no one confuses theirs with another's mid-game.
Pre-painted and pre-stained
They arrive ready to use. Hand-applied wash to give depth to the details — nothing to paint, nothing to finish. You open them and play.
Felt base
Each pawn has a felt base matching the player's color. It protects the playmat, slides silently, and won't scratch the table's wood.
Real weight in hand
Metal gives a weight that wood cannot. Moving the pawn becomes a gesture — you place it on the square and feel that it's there, where you put it.
Wooden pawns do their job. These do something different — they set the right tone for the evening, from the first card played to the last toast.
