🐸 HOW TO PLAY
Artwork Auction: Each round begins with an auction in which players use cards numbered 1 to 20 to determine the order in which they choose the available artworks. Used cards are discarded and cannot be reused.
Selection and placement: In bidding order, players choose a work of art and place it on their personal board, following some rules:
The works must be positioned orthogonally to at least one other already present.
Works of the same type (e.g. landscapes, portraits) must not be orthogonally adjacent; otherwise, both will not score points.
Placing works with frames of the same style adjacent to each other will earn you bonus decoration tiles.
Handling unplaced artworks: If a player cannot or does not want to place an artwork, they can hand it over to their assistant (who can only hold one artwork). If the assistant is already occupied, the artwork is discarded and will incur a point penalty at the end of the game.
Museum Influence: Artworks not chosen at the auction are sent to the museum, increasing the prestige of the corresponding work type. This mechanism influences the value of the works at the end of the game.
Game End and Scoring: The game ends when a player completely fills their board or after a predetermined number of rounds. Points are calculated based on:
The number of works of each type, multiplied by the type's prestige value.
Bonus for decorations obtained.
Penalty for non-positioned works
