FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
On the table is everything you unlocked together. Every token recalls a notification, every board a milestone. And now that it's all here, the game can truly begin.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
Everything the campaign unlocked, in one box
The Ultimate Conductor's Box collects the Kickstarter campaign stretch goals for Philharmonix, designed by Faris Suhaimi with art by Daniel Cunha. A separate box designed for those who supported the project and for those who want to complete the base experience with premium materials and additional modules.
Inside you'll find 16 bonus piano tokens, 8 silk-screened plaques, 6 patron cards, 5 demand tiles, 8 musician rewards, 4 conductor standees, a regional ability mini-board, a silk-screened round marker, a turn order tile, and three manuals. It's not an expansion in the traditional sense: it's the complete arsenal for those who want to play Philharmonix in its richest form.

Philharmonix: The Ultimate Conductor's Box
The base game supports solo play, and this box adds standees and modules that can also be used solo. The experience works well but loses the competition for patrons and musicians, which creates tension in multiplayer.
What's Inside
The components that complete the orchestra
16 bonus piano tokens
Additional rewards that unlock special actions during the game. Each token is a choice: use it now or save it for the right moment.
8 silk-screened plaques
Premium objectives that replace the base ones. The silk-screening makes every milestone achieved more memorable, and you can feel the difference to the touch.
6 patron cards
Patrons who offer unique advantages. Only some come into play each game, and competing to secure them adds a layer of indirect conflict.
Regional abilities and musicians
A mini-board with special powers tied to regions, plus 8 musician rewards. Modules that change the flow of the game without altering its core structure.
When you open the box and see everything the campaign unlocked, you understand why they called it Ultimate.
A game in five acts
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Modular setup
Decide together which modules to use. Some want patrons, some prefer regional abilities. The discussion is part of the ritual: every game is a different mix.
First strategic moves
Piano tokens appear on the board. Everyone knows they are limited, and everyone starts calculating whether to aim for them or musician rewards. Priorities are formed immediately.
Competition for patrons
Someone manages to hire a key patron. Others must decide whether to pursue or change strategy. Patron cards shift the balance mid-game.
The screen-printed plaques
A player completes a premium objective and places the plaque in front of them. The gesture is small, but the visual weight at the table is real. Others feel the pressure.
Final scoring
Points from tokens, plaques, musicians, and patrons are tallied. Those who diversified win; those who fixated on a single strategy pay the price. Games are decided by a few points.
How to play
The flow of each round (with active modules)
The basic game structure remains intact. The Conductor's Box components are integrated as additional options.
You place your workers on available spaces. If you use modules, some spaces provide access to extra piano tokens or musician rewards.
If you have hired a patron, you activate their special effect. This can be an immediate bonus or a permanent advantage for the rest of the game.
Question tiles (if in play) introduce events or demands that everyone must address. Those who respond best gain advantages, those who ignore pay a cost.
If you complete a premium objective, take the corresponding screen-printed plaque. End of round: advance the round marker and restart.
Why it's different from others
Six elements that make the difference
Real stretch goals
It's not a box of thrown-in promos. Each component was a milestone unlocked by the community during the campaign, and the production quality reflects that journey.
Screen printing on wood
The plaques and round marker are screen-printed, not stickers. The tactile texture is different, readability is better, and they last over time without fading.
Total modularity
You can use everything together or activate only certain modules. Each group finds its own balance: those who want complexity add everything, those who prefer fluidity choose only piano tokens and patrons.
Unique regional abilities
The mini-board introduces asymmetric powers tied to the board's regions. They don't revolutionize the game but change priorities enough to make each setup different.
Three manuals included
One for quick setup, one for advanced modules, and one for reference. The division makes learning more accessible, even with all the material on the table.
Conductor standees
The four standees replace the standard player tokens. An aesthetic touch that makes it clearer to understand who is where, especially in games with four full players.
How it ends
How to win (and what really matters)
Victory is decided by total points. Premium components add scoring paths but don't disrupt the balance.
Victory
- Complete premium objectives (screen-printed plaques) for guaranteed points
- Accumulate piano tokens and spend them at key moments for decisive actions
- Hire patrons who provide synergy bonuses with your main strategy
Defeat
- Disperse actions across too many modules without completing any of them
- Ignore patrons: those who use them well gain a 10-15 point advantage
- Underestimate question tiles: not responding costs resources and turns
Base Philharmonix is a solid Eurogame. With this box, it becomes a modular experience that grows with your group and doesn't get old.
Frequently asked questions
FAQ about Philharmonix: The Ultimate Conductor's Box
Do I need the base game to use this box?
Yes, it is mandatory. This is a collection of stretch goals and additional modules, not a standalone game. Without base Philharmonix, you cannot play.
Can I use only some components and leave out others?
Absolutely. In fact, it is recommended to start with a few modules (e.g., only piano tokens and patrons) and add the rest when the group is familiar with the base game. Modularity is the strong point.
Do the screen-printed components really make a difference?
Yes, especially the plaques. Screen printing on wood has a different texture than stickers, is easier to read under direct light, and doesn't wear out with use. It's an upgrade you can feel in your hand.
How much does the game length increase with everything active?
About 20-30 minutes longer than the base game, especially for the first play. Once the group knows the modules, the impact on time is minimal: choices are richer but the flow remains smooth.
Is it available in Italian?
No, this edition is in English. The manuals, patron cards, and question tiles require knowledge of the language. The base Philharmonix game does not have an official Italian localization.
