DOOMTILE – Core Game is a strategic board game in the style of a fantasy brawler arena: a duel (or rather, a brawl) on an arena of 25 tiles assembled differently each time and, above all, modifiable as you play.

Your turn is incredibly quick: you draw cards, take mana , and then go to the action phase. You spend it on spells , traps , power-ups, and arena maneuvers (moving, building, trading, or even destroying tiles). And if you're short on mana, you can get some by discarding... but be careful: those same cards are also used to resolve combat .

As soon as you move near an enemy, combat kicks into high gear and there's no arguing: someone falls. But DOOMTILE has the right amount of evil: elimination is temporary and you return to the game the next turn, so the pressure stays high until the last point. Plus, the core box comes loaded with meat: hero miniatures , mountains of cards , and a huge arena made up of different biomes.

Modular Arena: 25 tiles with effects:the map is a grid of25 tilesassembled in a variable way and above allchangeable during the game. Each tile has aeffect: reading the terrain and exploiting it is part of combat, not just a side dish.

Start of turn: Draw + mana:at the start of your turndraw 2 cardsand you getmanadepending on the round number. If you need more mana, you can get itdiscarding cards(but see point 5: discarding hurts when you then have to hit).

Action Phase: Spend mana on powers and to “change” the map:in the action phase you can use mana to castspell, to placetraps, equipupgrade, or do “physical” actions such asmove,build,exchangeordestroytile. So you can both improve your hero and literally warp the arena to create advantages or traps.

Forced combat + respawn:when you moveadjacentto an enemy, snapcombatand it is solved with thecards(they are used both for effects and to determine the outcome of the fight).
