🐸 HOW TO PLAY
The rolling landscape of Dartmoor offers diverse habitats for plants and animals. While dragonflies and other insects scurry by the stream, ponies and sheep graze on the open moorland. You can also discover many creatures in the air and undergrowth. The basic gameplay mechanics are the same as in Forest Shuffle , but with a few changes. The most impactful new element is the TERRAIN cards, which allow you to place cards above or below them, as well as some new effects on the cards.
Place soil, trees, or shrubs in your forest and choose the best spot for your animals and plants.
Some can only live in one specific habitat, while others enjoy the company of their own kind.
Play cards at the right time to use their effect efficiently.
Create a unique wetland landscape for flora and fauna.

From forest to moorland: a natural evolution
Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor is an ecological strategy board game for 2–5 players, with games lasting approximately 60 minutes. Published by Asmodee , it represents an evolution of the popular Forest Shuffle , introducing new habitats (the moors of Dartmoor), new species, and new asymmetric rules .
Thanks to horizontally positioned terrain cards , you can now attract animals that don't find shelter in trees: lakes, bogs, and clearings become vital areas for new combinations. With 180 cards, an initial draft of caves for different starting conditions, and more accessible bonuses, replayability becomes practically endless.
