FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Someone is lying, someone is suspicious, someone has already figured it all out and is keeping quiet. At the end of the game, you'll discover who was truly on your side.
What it's about
A war fought in whispers in the divided city
Berlin, 1960. The wall isn't there yet, but the city is already split in two, and in its streets, battles aren't fought with tanks — they're fought with clandestine meetings and agents no one knows. Berlin 1960 puts you in charge of a spy network: CIA or KGB, only you know.
At the start of the game, you secretly receive your affiliation. But you don't know who your allies are. You play spy cards from your hand to activate powers and complete missions, while trying to read every move of others: is that player helping my agency or sabotaging it? In Berlin 1960, every action is a signal — and every signal can be misunderstood.
Signed by Virginio Gigli and Flaminia Brasini, the authors of Grand Austria Hotel and Lorenzo il Magnifico, with illustrations by Santi Casas. Berlin 1960 takes social deduction and gives it the depth of an eurogame: it's not enough to guess who's lying, you also have to make every card count.
The secret of the game
You don't discover the enemy by observing them. You discover them when it's too late to stop them — and that's when the game sticks with you.
The secret of Berlin 1960 in one line
Every card played is a coded message to your allies. If you misfire, you end up helping exactly who you want to sink.
From the gaming experience
Berlin 1960
Your arsenal
What you use in every game
The hand of spies
Spy cards in eight different colors. Each has a power, each is a signal that others will read. Choose what to play and what to hide.
The affiliation card
CIA or KGB. Only you know. The entire game revolves around that secret — protecting it and guessing the others'.
The mission cards
Decipher codes, blackmail, eliminate. Each mission advances an agency — even the wrong one, if you're not careful.
The accusation list
At the end of the game, you point the finger. Guess all the enemies and your agency explodes with points. Make a mistake and you pay the price.
In an hour, you'll have accused an ally and thanked an enemy. That's how it works in Berlin — and you'll be talking about it for a long time.

🃏Recommended sleevesTo protect the cards
Berlin 1960 is a game with strong card interaction: constant handling, frequent shuffling. Sleeving them extends their life. The precise size is not yet confirmed by the publisher — we recommend checking the cards upon receiving the game before purchasing sleeves.
Mechanics and Strategy
THE DUEL OF THE CENTURY
Every move is a message, every card a risk
At the heart of the game system lies a precarious balance between visible power and hidden influence. It's not enough to simply deploy your agents: you have to understand where your opponent intends to strike and anticipate it, sometimes sacrificing a minor battle to win the covert war.
Hand management is crucial: each card offers multiple opportunities, forcing you to make painful choices. Use it for a powerful action or save it for a critical moment? The interaction is direct, fierce, and free of downtime, perfectly recreating the paranoia of the Cold War.
The elegant design eliminates unnecessary luck to make way for pure mental battle. Reaching the end of the game means having woven a complex web, where every thread has been pulled with intention and every knot has strategic meaning.
Where it rewards you
Reading your opponent's gaze is as valuable as a good hand of cards.
Dominating key sectors of Berlin is the only path to supremacy.
The satisfaction of making the enemy believe they've won, only to then turn everything around.
Playing the right card one turn too early or too late can be fatal.
A system that forces you to squeeze every resource to its full potential.
No triumph is a foregone conclusion until the final points tally.
Where it tests you
This board game challenges your ability to adapt and plan long-term in a context of limited resources. Perfect for those seeking an intense strategic duel, it requires cool-headedness and calculation in every turn, offering a deep gaming experience that rewards cunning above all else.
