Each mafia family has unique skills, secret plans and ruthless means to assert itself: hidden orders, Psychological battles and sudden explosions punctuate a tense and brutal match. 🐸 HOW TO PLAY
– Objective : Each player leads a mafia family during the Great Mafia War of the 1980s in Sicily. The goal is to gain control of the territories and accumulate the most Victory Points by the end of the game.
– Setup : Each family chooses their own personal board and receives tokens, units, and action cards. The map of Sicily is divided into provinces that will be contested during the game.
– Game Phases : Each round is divided into two main parts. First, the secret planning phase, where moves are planned behind the screen (deploy units, acquire resources, attack). Then, the action phase, where decisions are revealed and executed in order.
– Conflict and control : When two families meet in a province, a conflict erupts, resolved by comparing forces and using secret cards. The winner conquers the territory, gaining resources and influence.
– End of game : After six rounds, the Victory Points earned from controlling provinces, resources, and other objectives are tallied. Whoever has the highest total becomes the undisputed godfather of Sicily.

There's a strange silence in Sicily. Words are no longer worth anything, only bombs and bullets. The war between families has begun.
In La Famiglia , you are part of a mafia clan in the 1980s, when Southern Italy was a no-holds-barred battlefield. You move in the shadows, paired with your accomplice , while blood flows in the streets and the fight for dominance is played out with strategy, bluffing, and shaky alliances.
The tension is palpable in every turn. Your opponent smiles at you as he issues a secret order that could raze your base. Can you really trust anyone? No. And that's precisely why every move is so adrenaline-filled.

The Family: The Great Mafia War is a strategic and thematic board game for 4 players , designed for 2 vs. 2 team battles . Each player leads a mafia family with asymmetrical powers , in a fragmented Sicily, to be reconquered zone by zone.
The game is divided into two phases: Planning , where you develop skills and place secret orders on the map; and Combat , where those orders are revealed and resolved through explosive attacks and brutal bluffs.
The psychological component is dominant , every move is pure calculation. With a deep complexity (4/5) and a duration of 2–3 hours, it is designed for experienced players who want an intense, competitive and immersive experience .

The real gem of La Famiglia is the secret command system combined with simultaneous combat . Each round is a mental ballet in which anticipating the enemy is worth more than a thousand men .
Every family has powers that change the rules of the game, and every couple will have to learn to coordinate with surgical precision . It's not enough to be strong: you need to read your opponents like an open book ... even if they're your friends.
