FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Someone screams because they heard a noise. Someone tries to fix the radio. Someone is already dead and doesn't know it. And in the end, no one tells the same version of the game.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
The sequel that amplifies the asymmetric horror of the first chapter
Terrorscape 2 is the return of the asymmetric system by Jeffrey CCH, already the author of the first chapter that brought cinematic horror to tabletops. The illustrations by Maciej Janik and Samuel Horowitz recreate the atmosphere of The Thing, while Ice Makes expands mechanics and content with superior quality materials.
One player takes on the role of the Killer and hunts through deduction, sound, and fear. The others are Survivors: they hide, collect items, plan escapes, or prepare their last stand. Each character has unique abilities that redefine the gameplay. New maps, new item decks, new victory conditions: every game is a different story.
What they say abroad
Terrorscape 2 doesn't reinvent the asymmetric horror genre. It perfects it.
— FroGames
Three new Killers mean three different ways to spread terror. And five different Survivors completely change group dynamics.

Terrorscape 2
The protagonists of the nightmare
Killers and Survivors that rewrite the rules of the game
3 New Killers
Each Killer has a unique set of abilities. One hunts with sound, one through fear, one with traps and deception. Change the killer, change the strategy.
5 New Survivors
Doctor, Engineer, Scout, Tank, Leader. Each has a specialization that makes them crucial at different moments in the game. The combinations create unprecedented synergies.
Multiple maps
Antarctic bases, isolated shelters, claustrophobic structures. Each map changes the locations of weapons and medicines, redesigns escape routes and strategies.
Expanded item deck
Weapons, medicines, repair tools. Item cards increase, as do combinations. Finding the right item at the right time can turn the tide of the game.
In an hour you'll have a story. In a week you'll still be telling it. It always happens with games where someone dies before the end.
A five-act game
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The paranoia setup
The Killer chooses their assassin and places the token in secret. The Survivors deal character cards and plan. There's still trust, but it won't last long. Everyone knows that in five minutes, someone will be dead.
The first sound
A Survivor moves. The Killer listens, deduces, mentally notes the position. The first attack can come immediately or after three turns. You never know. And that's the point.
The first victim
Someone dies. Either because they searched for a weapon alone. Or because the Killer deduced correctly. Or because they trusted the wrong person. The group now knows: the game is real.
The desperate plan
The Survivors change strategy. Perhaps they fix the radio. Perhaps they search for weapons to confront the Killer. Perhaps they split up. It's the most chaotic moment, when decisions matter most.
The finale
Either everyone escapes. Or everyone dies. Or only one survives to tell the tale. The Killer wins if they eliminate enough victims. The Survivors if they complete an objective or confront them. Never two identical endings.
How to play
The flow of each round
A round of Terrorscape 2 alternates Survivor and Killer turns, maintaining asymmetry until the very end.
Each Survivor moves in secret, searches for items, uses special abilities. They communicate with others but do not reveal their exact location. The Killer listens.
The Killer moves and deduces. They can use abilities to track sounds, set traps, reveal locations. When attacking, they roll dice: combat or escape.
Survivors draw item cards from locations. Weapons improve combat. Medicines heal wounds. Tools repair radios or escape vehicles.
Game ends when Survivors complete an objective (escape, repair, kill the Killer) or when the Killer eliminates enough victims. Whoever reaches the condition first wins.
Why it's different from others
Six mechanics that make a difference
Three Killers, three ways to kill
It's not just an aesthetic change. Each Killer has a unique set of abilities that dictate different strategies. One tracks sounds, one spreads fear, one sets traps. Change the assassin, change the game.
Five Survivors with defined roles
Medic heals. Engineer repairs. Scout explores. Tank fights. Leader coordinates. Group combinations create synergies never seen in the first chapter. Team composition matters.
Modular maps that change the game
Each map has different layouts for weapons, medicines, escape points. You can't reuse the same strategy. One game favors repair, another combat, the third immediate escape.
Deduction with imperfect information
The Killer doesn't see exact positions. They hear movements, deduce patterns, mentally note who goes where. Survivors communicate but don't reveal everything. Information is power, so is silence.
Combat or escape
Survivors can confront the Killer, but only if they have weapons and coordinate. A failed attack means death. A strategic retreat can save the group. The choice matters more than the dice roll.
Multiple victory conditions
Escape, repair, killing the Killer, eliminating victims. Each game follows a different path to the ending. You never know which condition will be decisive until the final turns.
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
Terrorscape 2 offers multiple victories for both factions, and each ending tells a different story.
Survivor Victory
- They complete the radio repair and call for help
- They reach the designated escape point and flee
- They confront the Killer in combat and eliminate them
Killer Victory
- Eliminates the required number of Survivors (varies by player count)
- Prevents escape or repair within the turn limit
- Survives elimination attempts and maintains control until the end
Terrorscape 2 is not a game where you win or lose. It's a game where someone survives and someone doesn't. And the difference is made by who deduces best, who coordinates best, who chooses the right moment to attack.
Frequently asked questions
Terrorscape 2 FAQ
Do I need to have played the first Terrorscape to understand this?
No. Terrorscape 2 is a complete standalone game. The rules are designed to work even if you don't know the first chapter. In fact, if you've never played an asymmetric horror game, this is the best starting point: more content, deeper mechanics, improved balance.
How long does a game really last?
30-45 minutes stated is realistic after the first game. The first might take up to 60 minutes for teaching, especially if you explain both roles. From teaching onwards, games flow quickly: turns are simultaneous and decisions are intuitive.
Is it playable with 2 players?
Yes, and it works well. One player is the Killer, the other controls multiple Survivors. The experience loses the group dynamic (communication, shared paranoia) but gains in tactical control. It's a pure deduction duel, less cinematic but more strategic.
Are miniatures included or do I have to buy them separately?
Miniatures are included in the core box. Terrorscape 2 comes with 3 Killer miniatures and 5 Survivor miniatures, all pre-assembled and ready to play. The quality is that of a premium thematic game, not a skirmish game.
Is it available in Italian?
This edition is in English. The rules are in English, the cards have English text (character abilities, items), but the gameplay relies more on icons and deduction than on reading. If the group has an average English level, it can be played without problems.
Terrorscape 2 is an asymmetric horror board game for 2-4 players, with games lasting 30 to 45 minutes and a recommended age of 14+. Designed by Jeffrey CCH and published by Ice Makes, it expands on the system of the first chapter with 3 new Killers, 5 new Survivors, multiple maps, and diverse victory conditions. The mechanics of hidden movement, deduction, and team-based gameplay recreate the atmosphere of survival horror films like The Thing. Each character has unique abilities that modify gameplay, each map redesigns strategies and priorities. The Killer hunts through imperfect information, the Survivors cooperate to escape, repair, or fight. Terrorscape 2 is available on FroGames.it in an English edition with included miniatures and premium materials.
