FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
A voice on the phone tells you where you've ended up. Then someone opens a door that should have been left closed, and the evening takes another turn.
What it's about
All of Erune. In one box.
The Erune Legendary Box combines the base game Adventure Ultimate Edition and its two expansions, Heroic and Light & Darkness. Inside are 2 campaigns, 24 epic quests, 27 heroic classes, and all the advanced mechanics of the system: forging, alchemy, mimic, destructible pillars, interactive pre-quests.
Erune is a turn-based narrative dungeon crawler with a companion app that does much more than just management: professional voice acting, events, choices, cinematics, and original music. There's no game master reading paragraphs — there's a voice at the center of the table, and you're all on the same side, listening.
From 1 to 5 players, in cooperative (solo included) or asymmetric duel mode, where the two sides don't play by the same rules. You explore dungeons, experience narrated quests, and grow your characters from one mission to the next. Designed by Quentin Deleau and Adrien Smondack for Arkada Studio.
It is simultaneously the easiest way to start and the most expensive way. There is no middle ground: you either dive in this way, or you start with the base box.
The secret of the Legendary Box in one line
The moment you realize you did well is when the first cinematic starts and no one at the table checks their phone for anything else.
From the gaming experience
Erune — Legendary Box
What's in the box
Three boxes become one
Base game, expansions, and all advanced rules already inside. Here's what that means in practice.
Base plus two expansions
Adventure Ultimate Edition along with Heroic and Light & Darkness. Nothing to look for later, nothing to add afterward.
Two campaigns, 24 quests
Not loose missions: stories that develop, with characters growing from one quest to the next and choices that endure.
27 heroic classes
Twenty-seven different ways to tackle the same dungeon. This is the number that makes a second campaign with the same group worthwhile.
All advanced mechanics
Forging, alchemy, mimic, destructible pillars, interactive pre-quests. These are the rules that come with the expansions in the base game: here they are from the start.
In two months, you won't remember which quest was the sixth. You'll remember the choice you made in the dark, and who at the table said not to make it.

ContentBase + 2 expansions · 24 quests
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Twenty-seven classes and five minutes of silence
Before anything else, you have to choose who to be, and with twenty-seven options on the table, no one decides quickly. Someone reads everything, someone picks the first one they aesthetically like. Both approaches work, and they are already two different ways to play.
The cinematic starts, and the table falls silent
The phone in the center begins to tell the story, with real voices and background music. It's not a poorly read paragraph by the person holding the box: it's someone performing. You realize you're listening instead of waiting for your turn.
The chest was a mimic. Obviously.
Someone opens something that shouldn't have been opened, and the dungeon responds. From now on, every chest becomes a discussion, every pillar a calculated risk — because yes, pillars can also be knocked down.
Between quests, you check in
Forging, alchemy, equipment to distribute. This is the moment when the campaign stops being a series of dungeons and becomes a story with characters: what you build now, you carry into the next mission.
Twenty-four quests later, you start over
The campaign ends, and someone says the inevitable phrase: "What if this time we chose completely different classes?" With twenty-seven available and a second campaign in the same box, the answer is already ready.
How to play
The flow of a quest
Erune is a turn-based narrative dungeon crawler guided by a companion app. Here's how a session unfolds, from turning on your phone to completing the mission.
The smartphone in the center of the table introduces the mission with professional voice acting, cinematics, and original music. It tells you what to prepare and what's happening, without anyone having to read aloud.
Each player controls a hero and moves through the dungeon in turns, discovering rooms, treasures, and traps. The app offers choices and events along the way — and not all choices are reversible.
Mimics hidden among chests, destructible pillars, interactive pre-quests before the actual mission. In the Legendary Box, they are all already active: they are not optional rules to unlock later.
Forging and alchemy allow you to craft equipment and preparations between one mission and the next. Characters evolve throughout the campaign: the team in Quest 20 is not the same as in Quest 1.
Why it's worth it
Six things that make the Legendary Box different
All of Erune, one box
Base game Adventure Ultimate Edition plus the Heroic and Light & Darkness expansions. No hunting for out-of-stock boxes, no deciding what to buy first.
An app that truly performs
Professional voice acting, cinematics, events, choices, and original music. It's the difference between a game with a companion app and a game built around narration.
Two campaigns, 24 quests
Not disconnected missions: two complete narrative arcs, with characters growing from one quest to the next and consequences that carry forward.
Twenty-seven heroic classes
This is the number that makes a second playthrough with the same group of friends sensible. Change your class, change your role at the table, change how you approach the same rooms.
All advanced mechanics
Forging, alchemy, mimics, destructible pillars, interactive pre-quests. These are the rules that normally come with expansions: here they are available from the first night.
Cooperative or asymmetric duel
Play cooperatively with up to five players, including solo mode. Or in an asymmetric duel, where the two sides do not have the same rules or objectives.
How it ends
Win together, lose together
In cooperative play, there's no one rooting against you: each quest has its own objectives that the app communicates at the beginning, and the campaign continues taking into account how it went. In an asymmetric duel, however, the two sides want different things.
Victory
- Complete the objectives that the quest assigns to the group
- Lead the heroes to the end of the campaign, stronger than when they started
- Conditions change from mission to mission: the app communicates them
- In an asymmetric duel, each side has its own victory conditions
Defeat
- The heroes cannot withstand what the dungeon throws at them
- Or the quest ends without the objective being achieved
- Some choices made along the way cannot be undone
- Replay the mission knowing what to expect — and that's where the team improves

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about the Erune Legendary Box
I already have the Erune base box: is it worth it for me?
Probably not, and we prefer to tell you. The Legendary Box contains the base game Adventure Ultimate Edition: if you already have it, you would be repurchasing that part. In that case, it makes more sense to get the Heroic and Light & Darkness expansions separately. This box is designed for those starting from scratch or those who want the complete collection in one go.
Do I need to buy anything else to play?
No other products: this is the complete box, base game and two expansions together. However, you do need a smartphone with the Erune app: the entire system is built around the companion application, which acts as a narrator, manages events and cinematics, and answers questions about the rules. Without it, you cannot play. If you prefer completely analog games, this is not for you.
Is it suitable for those who have never played a dungeon crawler?
The publisher presents it as the ideal entry point, and for Erune, that's true: you get everything and don't have to choose what to buy. But it remains a narrative dungeon crawler with forging, alchemy, and twenty-seven classes — it's not a light game to offer to someone who has never seen anything similar. If your table already plays challenging cooperative games, you're in the right place.
How much content is there, in hours of gameplay?
Two complete campaigns totaling 24 quests, each lasting approximately 60-150 minutes depending on the mission and number of players. Additionally, there are 27 classes, which make a second start with the same group and different characters sensible.
How does the asymmetric duel work?
In addition to the cooperative mode (1 to 5 players, including solo), Erune features a duel mode where the two sides do not play with the same rules or objectives. It is an alternative to the cooperative campaign, not the main mode: if you are primarily looking for a competitive game, evaluate carefully.
Is it available in Italian?
No, this is the English edition: materials, cards, and texts are in English, and the app's voice acting must also be used in a supported language. As it is a strongly narrative game, language matters more here than elsewhere — if English is not comfortable for everyone at the table, keep that in mind before ordering.
The Erune Legendary Box collects all of Erune, the turn-based narrative dungeon crawler by Arkada Studio designed by Quentin Deleau and Adrien Smondack, in a single box: the base game Adventure Ultimate Edition and the Heroic and Light & Darkness expansions. It contains 2 campaigns, 24 epic quests, 27 heroic classes, and all advanced mechanics of the system — forging, alchemy, mimics, destructible pillars, and interactive pre-quests. Game for 1-5 players, ages 12+, duration 60-150 minutes per quest, playable cooperatively with solo mode supported or in asymmetric duel. The narration is handled by the companion app, which brings professional voice acting, events, choices, cinematics, and original music to the table. Requires a smartphone with the application. English edition. Available on FroGames.it.
