The FroGames Board
Choose an L-shaped ceramic tile. Then that triangular stained glass. No, that one is too big. Start over. In five minutes you'll have created your first pattern and you'll already be thinking about the next one. No one ever said creativity was relaxing.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
An abstract puzzle disguised as an atelier
We are in the midst of the Art Nouveau movement, when organic forms and floral decorations conquer European capitals. Amy and Dusty Droz have transformed that creative ferment into an abstract game that asks players to interpret emerging artists seeking fame. The setting is an elegant pretext, but it works: you find yourself building visual patterns as if they were stained glass, ceramics, textiles.
Each turn you draft tiles of different shapes from the central market and use them to complete patterns on objective cards. As you complete your works, the artisans in your atelier evolve from apprentices to masters, unlocking more complex shapes for subsequent drafts. The game requires spatial vision and timing: the best tiles disappear quickly, and each completed pattern is worth fame points only if you manage to fit it in before others.
What they say abroad
A game still in the discovery phase, but the promise is clear: pattern building that evolves with you. Page updated as soon as the first international reviews come out.

Artistry
The solo mode uses an automatic drafting system that simulates a ghost opponent: it draws tiles according to fixed rules and blocks your patterns. The experience is good as an optimization puzzle, but obviously loses the market competition and positional play of multiplayer. Ideal for training to see shapes.
The atelier materials
Four elements that make up each game
Material tiles
Geometric shapes in five materials (ceramic, glass, fabric, metal, paint). Each shape has a different outline: L, T, triangle, square. You use them to fill the patterns on objective cards, and some are only unlocked when your artisans reach higher levels.
Pattern cards
Each card shows a design to be completed with tiles. Some require specific materials, others only precise shapes. Completing them gives you fame points and unlocks new artisans or enhances existing ones. More complex patterns are worth more but force you to invest turns.
Artisans
They start as apprentices (can only draft simple shapes), evolve to journeywoman (medium shapes), and finally to master crafter (all shapes). Each level opens up new drafting possibilities and new patterns. Managing their progression is half the game.
Central market
A shared display of material tiles that refreshes each round. You draft in turn, choosing the shapes needed for your patterns. Whoever arrives first has an advantage, but leftover tiles can fit better with future cards. The market is the heart of the interaction.

ELEGANCE AND STRATEGY
THE PERFECT GALLERY
Each card is a decisive brush stroke
At the heart of this game lies a delicate balance between artistic ambition and pragmatism. It's not just about picking the most beautiful cards, but knowing how to arrange them in a logical and chromatic sequence, creating a seamless flow that maximizes the final score.
The acquisition system constantly presents you with interesting choices: do you sacrifice a long-term goal to secure a card that closes a series now, or risk waiting for the perfect item that may never arrive? Resource management becomes an art in itself.
When the last card is placed and the tableau is complete, the feeling of having built something organic and structured is powerful. There's no downtime, just a constant refinement of your overall vision, turn after turn.
Where it rewards you

Where it tests you
Artistry is an excellent board game for those who enjoy optimization without sacrificing the theme. The set collection mechanic combines with tight resource management, where every decision impacts the artistic outcome. It's a light strategy game that requires visual and tactical planning. Perfect as an advanced card game for family evenings or among design enthusiasts.
