The FroGames card
Open the tin, draw two cards, combine a word from each, and invent an insult nobody has ever heard. Then say it aloud and try to explain what it means while everyone laughs. The Mint Master watches you, thinks about it, and gives a red mint to someone else.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
The pocket-sized party game that tests your vulgar imagination
Swearmints: Spicy NSFW Edition is the adult version of the portable microgame by Chris Rio, published by Cheer Up Games in 2025. The whole game fits in a mint tin: 60 cards with dirty, explicit, and utterly inappropriate words to combine to create new insults and slang invented on the spot.
Each round, the Mint Master deals two cards to each player. Each card has four words on each side, for a total of sixteen possible combinations. You must choose one word from each card, combine them to form a new slang term, and then present it to the others, explaining what it means. The Mint Master rewards the best definition with a red mint, plus any bonuses. The game continues until the mints run out.
What they say abroad
"Combine hundreds of dirty words to create hilarious new swears and slang terms."
Combine hundreds of dirty words to create hilarious new swears and slang terms.
— Cheer Up Games
A pocket-sized NSFW party game that breaks the ice in 30 seconds. It's vulgar, immediate, and even works with non-gamers. The only limit is how much you want to embarrass yourself in front of friends.

What's in the box
Everything you need to invent new curse words
60 cards with dirty words
Each card has four words on both sides, for a total of 240 NSFW terms. Some are vulgar, some bizarre, some simply absurd.
Red mint scoring tokens
Small red cubes that the Mint Master distributes to winners. They are not edible; they are just tokens. The game ends when they run out.
Pocket tin
A metal tin the size of a mint box. The entire game fits inside and can be carried anywhere.
Quick rules
A leaflet that explains everything in half a minute. You don't even need to read it: someone will explain it while dealing the first cards.

The Flow of Each Round
Each round lasts about three minutes: dealing, inventing, presenting, verdict. Then it starts again.
The player with the tin deals two cards to each other player. Each card has four words on both sides, for a total of sixteen possible combinations.
Each player chooses one word from each of their two cards and combines them to form a new slang term. The two words must come from different cards. Place the combination face up in front of you.
Each player, in turn, presents their invented term and explains its meaning to the Mint Master. You can improvise, act it out, contextualize it. The only rule is to convince the judge.
The Mint Master awards a red mint to their favorite definition, plus any bonuses. Used cards are discarded, the Mint Master passes the tin clockwise. Play continues until the mints run out.
⏱️Your First GameThe chronicle, moment by moment▼
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Open the box and deal
One of you is the Mint Master, opens the tin, deals two cards each. Everyone looks at their eight words per side and starts laughing even before playing. Someone reads out an absurd combination. The ice is broken.
Everyone invents their insult
You must choose one word from each of your two cards and form a new slang term. You cannot combine two words from the same card. Everyone thinks in silence, some write, some change their mind at the last minute.
Awkward presentations
In turn, each person presents their invented insult and explains its meaning to everyone. Some prepare a serious definition, some improvise, some fall silent and hope others laugh enough. The Mint Master listens to everything.
The Mint Master's verdict
The Mint Master chooses their favorite definition and awards a red mint to the winner, plus any bonuses for creativity, vulgarity, or absurdity. There are no fixed criteria: whoever convinces the judge wins. Protests are met with laughter.
Restart, empty tin
Used cards are discarded, the Mint Master passes the tin clockwise and it starts again. It continues until the red mints run out. Whoever has the most wins, but no one remembers the score: everyone quotes the most absurd insults of the evening.

Before You Play
Three things you need to know
It's really NSFW
The Spicy edition contains 240 explicit words, vulgar and decidedly out of place. It's not suitable for all contexts: if you have doubts, there's a family-friendly green version (sold separately).
Luck matters more than it seems
Drawing two cards with compatible words gives you a huge advantage. Those who draw poorly have to work harder to come up with a convincing definition. The Mint Master changes every round, so the randomness of the judgment balances out in the long run.
Only works with 3 or more players
With two players, it makes no sense: you need an audience that reacts to the definitions and a judge who chooses. With three players it works, with four or five it's ideal. Over six, it gets too long.
🏆Victory and DefeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The game ends when the Mint Master runs out of red mints to distribute. Whoever has the most wins.
Victory
- Having more red mints than anyone else when the tin is empty
- Convincing the Mint Master with creative, absurd, or just vulgar enough definitions
- Earning bonus mints for exceptional performances (if the Mint Master decides to award them)
Defeat
- Never managing to convince the Mint Master during all rounds
- Always drawing incompatible word pairs and not being able to sell them
- Ending up with fewer mints than others when the game ends
Swearmints: Spicy NSFW Edition is a pocket-sized party game that breaks the ice in seconds and leaves a vocabulary of inside jokes for months. It's not strategic, not profound, but it works.

FAQ about Swearmints: Spicy NSFW Edition
Can you play without ever having played before?
Yes, it's one of the most immediate party games on the market. The rules are explained in a minute, the first game starts right after. No preparation, no experience needed. You just need to be able to read and have a minimum of vulgar imagination.
How long does a game last?
It depends on how many red mints you decide to use. A standard game with all provided mints lasts about 15-30 minutes. You can reduce the number of mints for quicker games or increase them if you want to extend it. It's a perfect filler between games.
Is it combinable with the family-friendly green version?
Yes, the two editions (green and red Spicy) are compatible and can be mixed for a total of 480 words. The green version does not contain vulgar language, so you can decide the level of vulgarity of your deck. Each is also playable on its own.
What mechanics does Swearmints: Spicy NSFW Edition use?
The game uses a Player Judge mechanic: each round a different player acts as referee and chooses the most convincing word combination and definition. Linguistic creativity and improvisation are the only skills required.
Is it available in Italian?
No, the edition for sale on FroGames is in English. The cards contain English NSFW words and the rules are in English. Basic knowledge of the language is needed to play and improvise definitions.
