FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Someone laughs, someone trembles, someone tries to hold their breath. And in the end, everyone knows it's Marco's pinky finger to blame.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
A challenge of balance and coordination where fingers become architecture
YUBIBO is a cooperative dexterity game designed by MAGNET and published by JELLY JELLY GAMES in 2024. The name comes from Japanese: yubi means finger, bo means stick. Literally, "Finger-Sticks". And that's exactly what you'll do: together, build an impossible structure using only your fingers as supports.
Draw cards, place sticks on the indicated fingers, try not to let everything collapse. You can increase the difficulty by adding spongy balls on top of the sticks, but be careful: each pair of sticks can only support one ball, and the balls cannot touch other balls or fingers. The game is fast, immediate, and works great even with large groups of up to 8 players.
What they say abroad
A balance game that turns your hands into a precarious work of art. And when it collapses, you laugh and start over.
— FroGames
YUBIBO is pure coordination: incredibly simple to explain, impossible to master. Perfect for any table.

What's in the box
Sticks, balls, and fingers. Nothing else.
Finger Cards
48 colored cards indicating which finger to use and which player names. Each card has a player color and a finger symbol (thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky).
Wooden Sticks
The sticks you'll need to place on the indicated fingers. Light but long enough to create unstable and spectacular structures.
Spongy Balls
Optional balls to place on top of the sticks to increase difficulty. Each pair of sticks can only support one, and they must not touch anything.
Gravity
The invisible opponent. Each added stick shifts the weight, tilts the structure, tests your collective balance. And sooner or later, it always wins.
Recommended sleeves 48 cards in 1 size ▼
If you play often, we recommend protecting your cards with clear sleeves to make them last longer.

In a few minutes, you'll realize the pinky finger is useless. Or maybe it's just for making everything collapse.
A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
The innocent beginning
You draw the first card, name a player, and place the first stick between two fingers. It seems easy. You laugh. You're about to realize how wrong you are.
The structure takes shape
Now there are four, five sticks. Someone starts holding their arm in a strange position. Someone else asks: "But can I move my wrist?". No, you can't.
The first tremor
A stick sways. Everyone holds their breath. Someone says, "Don't breathe." Too late. It sways again. But it holds. For now.
The ball of madness
You decide to add a spongy ball on top of two sticks. It's the silliest and most memorable moment of the game. The ball rolls, stops, rolls again. Everyone screams.
The inevitable collapse
Everything collapses. It doesn't matter if it's after 2 minutes or 8. The structure gives way, the sticks fly, the balls roll. And everyone laughs and wants to do it again immediately.
How to play
The flow of each turn
Each turn is very simple: draw, name, place. But the tension grows with each stick.
The active player draws a card from the deck. The card shows a player color and a finger symbol (thumb, index, middle, ring, or pinky).
If the card color does NOT match your color, you name that player. If it matches yours, you choose who to name.
The named player uses the finger indicated on the card. The active player uses any finger. Together, you place a stick between the two fingers.
The structure must hold. No stick can fall onto the table. If it falls, the game ends. If it holds, the turn passes, and another card is drawn.
Why it's different from others
Six things that make YUBIBO unique
Pure Cooperative
There's no competition. Everyone works together to build the tallest structure possible. You win together or you fall together. And when it falls, it doesn't matter whose fault it is (but everyone knows it's the pinky's).
Real-time without a timer
There's no stopwatch, but the game is frantic. Each card drawn increases the tension. Gravity doesn't wait, and the structure becomes increasingly unstable.
Accessible to all
Recommended age 6+, but also works with adults. The rules are explained in 2 minutes; no complex strategies are needed. Only coordination and a bit of luck.
Scalable up to 8 players
YUBIBO works great even with large groups. More players = more fingers = more complex and spectacular structures. And more fun when everything collapses.
Variant with balls
Want to increase the difficulty? Add the spongy balls on top of the sticks. Each pair of sticks can only support one, and the balls cannot touch other balls or fingers. It's incredibly difficult.
Very short games
A game lasts 5-10 minutes. Perfect as a filler, icebreaker, or a game to repeat on a loop. No one ever stops at just one game.
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The goal is simple: keep all the sticks upright for as long as possible. Gravity is the only opponent.
Cooperative victory
- You manage to place all the sticks without anything falling onto the table
- You set a group record (e.g., 15 sticks hold for 30 seconds)
- You manage to place at least one spongy ball without collapsing
Defeat (and laughter)
- A stick falls onto the table during placement
- The structure collapses because someone moves or shakes
- A ball touches another ball or a finger (advanced rule)
YUBIBO is that game you pull out when you want to make everyone laugh in 10 minutes. No strategy is needed, just a table and steady hands.
Frequently asked questions
YUBIBO FAQ
Does it really work with 8 players?
Yes, and it's even more fun. More players means more fingers available, more complex structures, and more spectacular collapses. The table needs to be big enough for everyone, but the game scales very well.
Are the spongy balls mandatory?
No, they are an optional variant to increase difficulty. You can play with just the sticks and cards. The balls add an extra layer of challenge, but also a lot of laughs when they roll away.
How long does a game last?
It depends on how good (and lucky) you are, but on average 5-10 minutes. The great thing is that no one ever stops at just one game. You play on a loop until someone's fingers are sore.
Is it suitable for children?
Absolutely yes. The recommended age is 6+, and the game is perfect for families. Children love the physical challenge, and no reading or math skills are needed. Just coordination and pure fun.
Is it available in Italian?
Yes, this is the Italian edition published by Mancalamaro. The cards use symbols and colors, so language has little impact on the game, but the rules are translated into Italian.
