FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
One valley, three eras, a single layered story. Fifty years from now, someone will open these boxes and find everything you've built, cooked, and loved.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
The complete Stonesaga experience, from the first spark to the last recipe
Designed by Max Brooke and Luke Eddy for Open Owl Studios, Stonesaga is a cooperative legacy game set in a glacial valley where you guide generations of characters through successive eras. Each session leaves permanent marks on the components: buildings constructed, materials discovered, beasts faced, choices passed down. This bundle brings together the base game and its two expansions in a single collection.
With Meals & Myths, cooking becomes survival: hunt, gather, drop tokens into the pot, and discover unpredictable recipes, confront a legendary behemoth, and bring the table up to five players. With Nature of the Beast, animals become true members of the tribe — scouts, predators, colossal beasts — with bonds that weigh heavily when broken. Together they build the richest, deepest, and most enduring version of Stonesaga: a world that responds, adapts, and remembers.
The bundle's secret in one line
Not three separate games: a single saga that grows in depth with each opened box.
— FroGames
Crafting, cooking, and animal companions in the same valley. The story layers, nothing is discarded.

Stonesaga · Complete Bundle
Stonesaga natively supports solo play, and both expansions maintain the same structure. In solo, you manage multiple characters, experiment with recipes, bond with animal companions, and face behemoths and immortal beasts. Only the shared debate about long-term choices is lost, but the persistence of the world and the crafting experience remain complete.
What the bundle contains
Three boxes, one valley
Stonesaga · Base game
The heart of the experience. Discovery crafting, passing down generations, immortal beasts, and a persistent world that remembers every choice. It all starts here.
Meals & Myths
Cooking as survival. Drop-token culinary system, legendary behemoth, new region with ancient myths, and the fifth character mantle for up to 5 players.
Nature of the Beast
Animals join the tribe. Scouts, predators, and colossal beasts linked to characters, with unique abilities and emotional bonds that weigh heavily. Plus a new region to explore.
The complete collection
Everything you need to experience Stonesaga in its fullest form. The expansions integrate organically: no separate modules, a single saga that grows.
Recommended sleeves 878 cards in 2 sizes ▼
Total of the three boxes (base + Meals & Myths + Nature of the Beast). If you play often, we recommend protecting cards with transparent sleeves to make them last longer.

| Total cards | 878 |
In a few years, you'll open these boxes and see a valley that exists in no other copy in the world: built, cooked, traversed by companions who had names. That is your story.
A saga in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The full experience.
The valley comes to life
Open the core box and read the first generation card. A crisis or an opportunity arises. The characters prepare, some already set off to explore. With the expansions on the table, you know this valley can grow in directions no other group will see.
The first discovery
Someone tries to craft: stone and wood? No. Stone and bone? Maybe. The system doesn't tell you what works. Then the first token falls into the Meals & Myths pot and a dish no one expected comes out. Laughter ensues, experiments are made, the valley begins to tell its story.
The bond with the beast
With Nature of the Beast an animal approaches. Someone invests resources, creates a bond. The companion has a name, explores, transports, warns. The table starts to protect it as a true member of the tribe. Meanwhile, an immortal beast from the core game follows its instinct.
The behemoth on the horizon
The legendary creature appears. Normal recipes are not enough: coordinated strategies are needed, the right culinary boost, the companion sent on recon at the right time. Everything you've built in three boxes converges in this turn. The tension is physical.
The generation concludes
Read the final event. Some characters age, some die, some companions fall. Write their names on the legacy card. The valley has changed: buildings, recipes, bonds remain etched in the components. Close the boxes. The next generation will start from here.
How to play
The flow of each round
The rhythm of the core game, enriched by the systems of the two expansions. Beasts move, characters act, cooking experiments, the world responds.
Immortal creatures — and the behemoth of Meals & Myths — act according to their instincts. They draw behavior cards, move, satisfy needs, or destroy. They are not scripted enemies.
Each character acts on four attributes: strength, dexterity, conviction, awareness. They explore, craft, build, fight. Animal companions help, transport, and explore dangerous areas.
Combine materials to discover recipes, without predefined lists. You drop tokens into the pot for dishes that empower the tribe. You try, discover, and record for future generations.
The valley reacts. Events, changes, new materials and myths discovered in the expansion regions. Some modifications are permanent. Prepare for the next round: the story builds layer by layer.
Why it's different from others
Six mechanics that make a difference
Real Discovery Crafting
No list of recipes to unlock. You try combinations and discover what works. Sharpened stone + stick = spear? Verify. Each group discovers in a different order. It's true exploration, not grinding.
Drop-token cooking
With Meals & Myths, survival depends on fire. You drop tokens into the pot and see what comes out: powerful recipes, strange effects, sometimes disasters. Luck and strategy mix like ingredients.
Companions with a soul
With Nature of the Beast, animals are linked to a specific character, not shared resources. They have names, abilities, and an emerging personality. When they fall, the loss weighs heavily at the table.
Persistent, layered world
Components are permanently modified but never discarded. Buildings, recipes, beast wounds: everything remains. After ten sessions, you'll look at the map and see the physical history of generations.
Drop-in drop-out and fifth cloak
Designed for changing groups: a player is missing, someone else joins, the valley continues. With Meals & Myths, the table accommodates up to five players thanks to the new character cloak.
Campaign without numbered envelopes
No linear path. The campaign reacts to your choices: events depend on what you've built, cooked, bonded with, and faced. No two groups will experience the same sequence.
How it ends
How you win and how you lose
Each generation has specific goals. But the real score is the valley you leave for future generations.
Generational Success
- You meet the generation's needs: buildings constructed, crises resolved, behemoth managed
- Characters and companions survive long enough to pass on knowledge
- Society grows: new recipes discovered, new territories explored, bonds strengthened
Generational Collapse
- Too many characters or companions die before passing on knowledge
- Beasts devastate critical buildings and society regresses
- Culinary experiments fail, and you miss crucial power-ups for challenges
The Stonesaga bundle doesn't end with one game. It ends when you decide to close the valley's book. Each group writes its own epic, etched into the components forever — with all the crafting, cooking, and companions needed to make it unique.
Frequently asked questions
Stonesaga bundle FAQ
Is the bundle better, or should I just buy the core game?
The core game is already complete and playable on its own. The bundle is for those who know they want to go all the way: Meals & Myths adds experimental cooking, a behemoth, and the fifth player; Nature of the Beast adds animal companions and emotional bonds. Both expansions require the core game and integrate organically, without becoming separate modules. If Stonesaga has convinced you, the bundle is the way to get it in its richest form from day one.
Is it too complex for casual players?
Honestly, yes, it can be. Stonesaga is a deep cooperative legacy game with discovery crafting and multi-generational management: you learn in layers, not in one evening. The expansions add even more mechanics. It's designed for experienced players and those who love weighty games. Those looking for an immediate experience or a light evening will find other titles more suitable.
Can I add expansions to an ongoing campaign?
Yes. The expansions integrate into the persistent world: you can introduce them when the group is ready. The drop-in drop-out system and the modular nature of the valley allow you to integrate cooking and animal companions mid-campaign, enriching an already started campaign without beginning anew.
How many players can play with the full bundle?
From 1 to 5 players. The core game supports 1-4; Meals & Myths introduces the fifth character cloak, bringing the table up to 5. All configurations work, including official solo play, and each player count changes the rhythm of the valley.
How long does the complete campaign last?
It entirely depends on you. Each session is a generation (60-120 minutes), and there's no fixed number of sessions: you can play ten generations or fifty. With two expansions adding regions, myths, recipes, and companions, the bundle is designed to last months or years. The valley evolves until you decide to conclude the story.
Is it available in Italian?
No, the core game and expansions are in English. The game includes many components with text (event cards, crafting cards, myths, companion abilities, rulebooks) and requires a good understanding of English to manage discovery crafting and generational events. An official Italian edition is not currently planned.
The Stonesaga bundle brings together the core game and the two expansions Meals & Myths and Nature of the Beast in a single cooperative legacy collection for 1-5 players, lasting 60-120 minutes per session, ages 13+, designed by Max Brooke and Luke Eddy for Open Owl Studios. Set in a prehistoric glacial valley, Stonesaga introduces a unique discovery crafting system where players uncover recipes by trying material combinations, without predefined lists. The campaign is persistent: each generation permanently modifies components, creating a layered story session after session. Meals & Myths adds a drop-token cooking system, a legendary behemoth, a new region with ancient myths, and the fifth character cloak. Nature of the Beast introduces animal companions linked to characters — scouts, predators, colossal beasts — with unique abilities and emotional bonds, plus a new region to explore. The bundle supports seamless drop-in drop-out and official solo mode. No components are ever discarded: everything layers. English edition. Available on FroGames.it.
