🐸 HOW TO PLAY Odin
1. Free the Vikings, empty your hand.
In Odin , your goal is to send all your Vikings on a quest… that is, to play all the cards from your hand before your opponents. The deck has six suits numbered 1 through 9, and each player starts with nine cards.
2. The beginning of the hand: the first stroke.
The player whose turn it is plays a single card. The turn passes to the next player, who can either pass (reserving the right to re-enter later) or play the same number of cards—or one more—with a higher value.
3. The combinations: number or color, but always in order.
When you play two or more cards, they must all be the same number or color. The value is calculated by ordering the digits from highest to lowest: a blue 3 and a blue 6 become 63, not 36. If you are not the first player in the round, you must take one of the cards played by the previous opponent and add it to your hand, discarding the others.
4. End of round and special hands.
A round ends when one player runs out of cards or when everyone passes. In the latter case, the cards from the last play are discarded, and the player who played them begins the new round with a single card. There is also a special move: if you are in a draw and have cards all of the same suit or number, you can play them all at once to close the entire hand.
5. Points and victory.
At the end of the hand, each card left in hand is worth one point. The game continues until someone reaches at least 15 points: at that point, the player with the fewest wins. In Odin , strategy, timing, and a pinch of cunning are key to leaving the others to draw... dust.

There's a moment in every game of Odin when someone puts down three cards, looks at you, and says nothing.

Odin is a fast-paced and intuitive card game , designed to bring out the strategic side of even the lightest games. Each player starts with an identical hand, but the game immediately opens up to different choices: combine cards of the same color or number , create the strongest sequence, and then... decide what to leave, what to take back, and when to take risks .
The more you play, the more you learn to "read the table." Every hand is a micro-challenge that pushes you to improve. No two games are the same, because every decision changes the pace of the game .

At first we thought, “Come on, nice little filler with Vikings.”
Then, in the second round, someone silently emptied their hand. And that's when the challenge began. Odin is one of those games that slowly creeps into your head , with clear rules and a pace that accelerates on its own.
We've played it with six of us and laughed out loud, but we've also used it as a quick 1v1 to settle a score between two disagreeing Froggers.
And trust me: when you lose because you drew one card too many, you remember it well.
It's the kind of game that always works. And when it's over... someone says, "Rematch?"
