FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Someone mimes, someone misunderstands, someone lies. And in the end, nobody knows who the traitor was.
What it's about
A murder in Goose Village. And no one can speak.
A crime has been committed in Goose Village. The first goose witness knows everything — but geese don't speak. They only communicate through body language, miming clues one after another along the chain of players.
Gossip Goose is a deduction and charades party game for 4-8 players: each player interprets cards and "passes" them to the next using only gestures. The problem? A mischievous goose hides among the participants, ready to mislead the group with false information.
The goose-policeman at the end of the chain must frame the culprit with the clues received — but how many have been corrupted along the way? Deduction, bluffing, clumsy charades, and guaranteed laughs.
You can't say a word — but your body speaks volumes. And those watching don't always understand what you meant.
The secret of Gossip Goose in one line
Each game is born and dies in half an hour — but the shouts, accusations, and laughter stay in memory much longer.

2 Award Cards

What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Identity cards are dealt
Everyone looks at their card in silence. Most geese are innocent bystanders. But at least one is not. Who is the evil goose? No one knows yet — and the tension starts right here.
The first goose mimes the clue
The witness knows the secret — and must convey it without making a sound. Gesticulates, makes faces, points. The second player watches in amazement. They understood something. Perhaps.
The clue passes from goose to goose
The second player mimes what they understood to the third. The third to the fourth. Each passage transforms the message. Someone misinterpreted. Someone did it on purpose. The chaos grows with every gesture.
The goose-detective collects the verdict
The last player has received a clue — who knows how faithful it is to the original. They write on the crime scene pad and vote for the culprit. The table is silent for the first time since the game began.
Identities are revealed. Chaos erupts.
All identity cards are flipped. Who was the evil goose? Everyone talks at once, accusing each other, laughing. It turns out the error in round three wasn't sabotage — it was just terrible miming. Or maybe it was. Everyone wants to play again immediately.
How to play
The flow of each round
Four lightning-fast phases that repeat. You learn in five minutes, you play with laughter.
Each player receives a secret identity card: eyewitness, common goose, or evil goose. Only the witness knows the crime that needs to be uncovered.
The witness draws a goose card and mimes the clue to the next player. Everyone interprets and relays it without speaking. The evil goose can mime something wrong on purpose.
The last player (the goose-detective) writes the received clue on the crime scene pad and identifies the suspect. The other geese vote on who they think is the culprit.
Identities are revealed: the good geese win if the detective correctly identified the true culprit. The evil goose wins if they survived undetected or if the detective targeted the wrong person.
Why it's different from others
Six mechanics that make a difference
No words — just gestures
You can't speak, whisper, or make sounds. Only your body. This creates hilarious misunderstandings and makes every player a protagonist regardless of age or experience.
The traitor changes every game
Identities are randomly dealt — the same person can be a witness in one round and the evil goose in the next. There are no fixed dynamics, and each game starts fresh.
The "telephone game" effect
The message distorts with each pass — even without saboteurs. The chain itself creates comical situations. Add the evil goose, and the final result exceeds all expectations.
Very short games
Twenty minutes and it's over. Or it starts again. Gossip Goose is perfect as an appetizer before a longer game or as a nightcap when energy levels drop but laughter doesn't.
Accessible to everyone
No complex rules, no text to read during the game, zero language barriers. It works for children aged 8 to grandparents — miming is universal.
The crime scene pad
A physical element that materializes the evening's chaos. Looking at what the detective wrote and comparing it to the original clue is the funniest moment of each round.
How it ends
Two teams, one winner
The good geese collaborate to uncover the crime. The evil goose plays alone — and the advantage is on their side.
The good geese win
- The detective correctly identifies the culprit
- The geese discover and expose the evil goose during the vote
- The clue chain remained intact enough to allow deduction
The evil goose wins
- The detective points the finger at the wrong suspect
- The evil goose is not discovered during the final vote
- The sabotage in the chain went unnoticed by everyone
Gossip Goose is the party game that works with anyone, at any time, without needing explanations. Miming, bluffing, and guaranteed laughter.
Frequently asked questions
Gossip Goose FAQ
Is it worth it compared to Lupus in Tabula or Werewolf?
They are very different games. Gossip Goose doesn't require prolonged social deduction or a moderator: it's immediate, physical, and comical. Those who love social deduction games will find something lighter and more immediate here, perfect as an appetizer or a more accessible alternative.
Does it really work with people who never play games?
It's one of its strengths: there's nothing to memorize, no reading during the game, and miming is instinctive. You start playing after five minutes of explanation. In fact — people who don't play often tend to mime in a more unpredictable way, making the chain even more chaotic and fun.
How many players does it work best with?
With 6-8 players, the chain is longer, and the message degradation becomes hilarious. With 4-5, it's quicker and more tactical. It works in both cases, but with more people, the chaos grows exponentially — and so does the fun.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, from 8 years old. Miming is a language that children often master better than adults. It's also great for intergenerational play: grandparents, parents, and children on the same level, without anyone having advantages related to gaming experience.
Do games really last 20-30 minutes?
Yes, even less with fast groups. It's one of its most appreciated features: you can play a quick game before dinner, or three in a row in the evening. It never drags, because the structure is linear, and turns go fast.
Is it in Italian?
Yes, this is the Italian Asmodee edition with rules in Italian. The cards are almost exclusively graphic and nearly text-free, so it's also accessible to those who don't know the language.
