The FroGames Card
You roll the dice, mark the numbers, fold the sheet, and discover that the clouds have become stars. The same game, another world. And that perfect line you completed three turns ago now counts double.
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
A paper break that transforms as you play
Anthony Perone and Benoit Turpin sign a roll & write that will be released in 2025 by Disto studio and will arrive in Italy with Asmodee. The illustration by Memé Candia transforms each card into a cozy domestic corner: shelves, constellations, photos on the wall. The game even includes an official soundtrack to accompany the games.
Fill cloud grids by adding dice values, all together. The goal is to complete rows that contain only different numbers. If you can make them consecutive, you get a perfect line. But if you repeat a number on the same row, you lose it. Each correctly completed row allows you to draw an object on the shelf. The board folds and unfolds to reveal new scenarios with dedicated rules.
What they say abroad
Daydream promises that rare thing: a roll & write where the sheet changes shape as you play. We look forward to seeing it at the table to see if it delivers.

Daydream
The game is designed to also work solo: the rules are identical, you roll the dice and fill your grid. The experience is complete, perfect for an evening break. You obviously lose the direct comparison with other players on collected objects, but the mathematical puzzle remains intact.
What's in the box
The elements you use every game
Cloud Grids
Each player has a grid to mark numbers. The rows must contain only different values. If you succeed in consecutive order, you get a perfect line and a bonus.
Shared Dice
Everyone rolls together and uses the same values. You can sum the dice as you prefer, but once a number is marked, you can't go back. The choice is irreversible.
Foldable Board
Your card folds and unfolds to reveal eight combinations of different scenarios: constellations, musical notes, photos. Each has unique rules and increasing difficulty.
Objects on the Shelf
Each correctly completed row allows you to draw an object. At the end of the game, the player who has collected the most wins. Simple, but requires consistency and an eye for numbers.

How to play
The flow of each round
Everyone plays together, no one waits. A turn lasts thirty seconds.
All together. The values are the same for all players. No rerolling, no personal advantage.
Choose which dice to sum and in which box on the grid to mark the result. Each row must contain only different numbers.
If you fill all the boxes in a row without repeating numbers, you draw an object on the shelf. If the numbers are consecutive, you also get the scenario bonus.
Continue rolling and filling until all grids are full or no one can legally score anymore. The player with the most objects wins.

A game in five moments
What happens at the table
Not the rules. The experience.
Choose your scenario
You fold the board to decide which scenario combination to play. Constellations? Musical notes? Pictures on the wall? Each has a different rule. You quickly explain: everyone uses the same dice, everyone fills their own grid. All you need is paper and pencil.
First rolls, first choices
You roll the dice together. Someone immediately sums them to make a high number and fill the first box. You wait: you want to keep the numbers low to build a consecutive line. But the grid fills up quickly and you can't correct it.
The first lost row
You marked a 5 on a row that already had a 5. The row is burnt, lost forever. You won't draw any objects on it. The others smile: it happens to everyone. You focus on the remaining rows and plan better.
A perfect line
You complete a row with all consecutive numbers: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Perfect line. You draw an object on the shelf and get a bonus from the scenario. It's the most satisfying moment of the game: you've built something clean.
Count the objects
The grid is full, there are no more boxes. Count the objects drawn on the shelves. The one with the most wins. Someone has two perfect lines, someone else has three burnt rows. The difference is clear. You're already folding the sheet to try another scenario.
🐸Before you know itThree honest things, from friends▼
Before you know it
Three things to keep in mind
The dice can screw you over
You can plan perfect lines for three turns, then a sequence of dice comes along that forces you to repeat numbers or burn rows. Luck plays a role, especially towards the end of the game when there are few free spaces. If this frustrates you, Daydream is not for you.
Scenarios are not all equal
Some scenarios add interesting rules (constellations, musical notes), others seem like minor variations. The eight combinations offer replayability, but after a few games, you'll understand which ones you prefer and you'll always go back to those. Don't expect eight completely different games.
With five, it's a simultaneous solitaire
Everyone plays together, but each person works on their own sheet without interacting. The only comparison is the final count of objects. Perfect for relaxing, less so for those seeking direct tension or bluffing. It's a shared mathematical puzzle, not a race.
🏆Victory and defeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
How to win and how to lose
The game ends when all grids are full or no one can legally place numbers anymore.
Victory
- The player who has drawn the most objects on the shelf wins
- Perfect lines (consecutive numbers) give extra bonuses according to the chosen scenario
- In case of a tie, the player who has completed the most perfect lines wins
Elimination or defeat
- Every row with a repeated number is burnt: you don't draw any object on it
- If you run out of boxes before the others without completing rows, you've wasted time and space
- Poor planning in the first turns means reaching the end of the game with half the grid unusable
Daydream is a roll & write that physically changes shape as you play it. Eight scenarios, relaxed pace, no waiting between turns. Perfect for evening breaks.

Daydream FAQ
What mechanics does Daydream use?
Dice rolling, roll & write, line drawing, simultaneous action selection. Everyone rolls the same dice and fills their grids simultaneously. It's a mathematical puzzle with a touch of luck.
How do the foldable boards work?
The game board folds and unfolds to reveal eight different scenario combinations: constellations, musical notes, pictures on the wall. Each combination adds a specific rule. You can choose your favorite before starting.
What's the best number of players?
1 to 5 players. It works perfectly solo: it's a puzzle against yourself. With 2 to 4 players, there's a slight comparison of collected objects. With 5, interaction is minimal, becoming more of a shared solitaire. The ideal is 2-3 players.
How long does a game actually last?
Between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on how many players there are and how much you think before marking the numbers. With fast players, even with 4, you'll finish in 20 minutes. The game has no downtime: everyone plays together.
Is it available in Italian?
Yes, this Asmodee edition includes rules and components in Italian. The game uses numbers and symbols, so language has little impact on gameplay. The board is international.
The people behind the game
Who invented it, who designed it, who publishes it — and what else they've done.
