The FroGames Sheet
You start with a unique star system. What others discover in the third round, you have immediately. But every advantage brings a different limitation.
WHAT IT IS ABOUT
Custom Star Systems instead of standard setup
This promo, originally distributed during the Gamefound campaign for Entropy (the base game by Simone Luciani, Tommaso Battista, and Nestore Mangone), introduces four alternative Solar System tiles. Each tile replaces the standard system and provides asymmetric initial configurations.
At the table, choose one of these tiles instead of the base Solar System tile: the starting planet enters the left slot, and you immediately gain advantages or modifications that accelerate specific strategies. The tiles are not balanced against each other; they create different games.
What they say abroad
"Use entropy to create new Solar Systems, shape new biomes, and seed Planets with life."
Use entropy to create new Solar Systems, shape new biomes, and seed Planets with life.
— Board&Dice
It's a promo with little public data. The sheet is based on the official rules published by Board&Dice: four tiles with alternative setups. We will update with details after the first games.

Entropy - Star Systems Promo (Entropy: Home System Promo)
The base game Entropy has an official solo mode with dedicated rules. This promo can also be used in solo mode: choose an alternative Solar System tile instead of the base one. The experience is consistent with the main game's solo mode.
What it contains
Four alternative Solar System tiles
System Tile 1
One of the four promo tiles. It replaces the base tile: the starting planet enters the left slot, providing an asymmetric starting configuration.
System Tile 2
Second alternative configuration. Each tile accelerates different strategies: some favor stellar evolution, others the production of specific resources.
System Tile 3
Third setup option. The tiles are not balanced against each other: the point is to create games with marked asymmetries from the first turn.
System Tile 4
Fourth promo tile. Each system opens immediate tactical paths that would take two or three rounds to build in the base game.

How to integrate
The only difference from the base game
No new rules. Only a change to the initial set-up.
During setup, each player receives (or chooses, depending on the house rule) a promo Solar System tile instead of the base tile.
Place the starting planet in the left slot of the promo tile. Some tiles already have icons or bonuses printed, which are active from the first turn.
From here on, follow all the base Entropy rules. The promo does not change turns, actions, or victory conditions. It only changes the starting point.
The final score uses the same rules as the base game. Promo tiles do not provide extra points but can facilitate specific scoring strategies.

A game in five moments
What changes at the table with alternative Star Systems
Not the rules. The experience.
Choose your system
Before placing your starting planet, you look at the four promo tiles. One already has two planet slots, another provides extra energy. You choose the one that accelerates your preferred strategy. The others do the same.
Asymmetrical start
In the first turn, you realize that while you start with extra energy, your opponent already has a biome ready. The tiles are not equivalent: they create intentional imbalances that force different paths.
Accelerated strategies
You reach round three with resources you would have only obtained later in the base game. But you discover your tile's hidden limit: fewer asteroid slots, or increased costs for certain actions. Every advantage has a price.
Tactical divergence
Games with promo tiles diverge faster: everyone optimizes their unique system. Interaction remains indirect (competition on common goals), but the final builds are more heterogeneous.
Endgame
At the score count, you notice that some tiles favor vertical strategies (few dense systems), others horizontal (many small systems). Whoever made the most of their initial advantage wins. The others are already thinking about which tile to try next time.

Requires the base game
This is a promo, not a standalone product. You cannot play without base Entropy. You also need to know the rules well: the tiles accelerate strategies you must already master.
Not balanced among themselves
The four tiles are not equivalent. Some are stronger in specific configurations, others offer less obvious advantages. If you are looking for perfect symmetry, this promo is not for you.
Limited impact for newcomers
If it's your first or second game of Entropy, the promo tiles risk confusing more than helping. Their value emerges after 4-5 games, when you understand which builds work and want more pronounced starts.
🏆Victory and DefeatWhat the ending rewards▼
How it ends
Victory and Defeat Conditions
Identical to the base Entropy game. The promo does not affect the scoring system.
Victory
- Victory points from life forms placed on planets (public and private objectives)
- Points from completed biomes and captured asteroids
- Bonuses from completed missions and the final configuration of the personal tableau
Elimination
- There are no elimination conditions in Entropy: everyone plays until the end
- You can fall behind if you waste multi-purpose cards without building productive engines
- The game ends when a player completes the last public objective or runs out of life cards
If you already have Entropy and want more asymmetry in the setup, this promo adds exactly that. Nothing revolutionary, but each tile opens up different games.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ about Entropy - Promo Star Systems (Entropy: Home System Promo)
Can I play with this promo without the base game?
No. This is a promotional expansion that requires Entropy (base game) to function. It does not include a complete rulebook, base components, or the main board.
Are the Solar System tiles balanced among themselves?
No, and that's not a flaw: they are intentionally asymmetrical. Each tile favors different builds. Some games will be unbalanced, it's part of the design. If you are looking for perfect balance, use the base setup.
How many times should I have played Entropy before using this promo?
We recommend at least 4-5 games of the base. The promo tiles accelerate strategies you should already know: without experience, you won't understand which to choose or how to exploit it. For your first game, use the standard setup.
What mechanics does Entropy - Promo Star Systems use?
The promo does not introduce its own mechanics: it only modifies the initial setup. The base game uses a rondel (forced circular movement), multi-purpose cards (each card has alternative functions), tableau building, and asymmetrical resource management.
Is it available in Italian?
Yes, this edition distributed by Cranio Creations is in Italian. It includes four tiles with localized texts and icons, compatible with the Italian edition of base Entropy.
The people behind the game
Who invented it, who designed it, who publishes it — and what else they've done.
Entropy - Promo Star Systems is a promotional expansion for the base game Entropy (1-4 players, 90-150 minutes, 14+), designed by Simone Luciani, Tommaso Battista, and Nestore Mangone, published by Cranio Creations in Italian. The promo introduces four alternative Solar System tiles that replace the standard setup: each tile provides asymmetrical initial configurations, accelerating specific strategies and increasing game variety. It adds no new rules, only changes the starting point. Available on FroGames.it.
