The Specialists is a mini-expansion for Fliptown that adds a simple, yet dangerous, idea: you can hire a Specialist to excel in a region, push your strategy, and build an advantage that others (or the game, if you're playing solo) will immediately feel.
The flavor is that of Fliptown: clear choices, optimization, and the pace of a strategic board game . Except here the question changes: not "what do I do now?", but who do I bring with me . The Specialist can unlock increasingly interesting bonus actions as you meet the requirements, and when the right chain starts, you really feel like you've found your perfect frontier "build."
But it's not a gift: Specialists aren't cheap , and above all, their reward grows.
