FroGames — Moments You'll Remember
Buy low, sell high, and by the end of the game, discover that every move you made filled someone else's wallet. Welcome to the most ruthless closed economy there is.
What it's about
A closed economy where every euro you earn is taken from someone else
Container is one of the most respected economic games of all time. Originally designed by Franz-Benno Delonge and Thomas Ewert, it returns in 2026 in a new Allplay edition with illustrations by Adam Allsuch Boardman and a complete redesign of the components.
In Container, you build factories, produce goods, store them in warehouses, and decide at what price to sell them. Then you load your containers onto ships and set sail for the island, where they end up at auction. The principle is simple to state and very difficult to execute: buy low, sell high.
The real challenge of Container isn't the rules — which can be explained in twenty minutes — but the market. Money never comes from the bank: it only circulates among players. Every euro you earn is taken from an opponent. And secret value cards mean no one really knows how much others' containers are worth.
There is no bank: money only circulates among players. To get rich, you have to convince an opponent to pay you — this is where ruthless negotiations begin.
The secret of Container in one sentence
Value cards are secret. You buy and sell blindly, reading opponents more than the board. At the end of the game, the count overturns certainties you thought were solid.
From the game experience
Container
What you put into play
What you manage in each game
Your factories
They produce the colored containers you'll put on the market. Which colors to push? It depends on what you think others want.
Your warehouses
Here you store containers and decide the selling price. Too high and no one buys, too low and you sell off your margin.
Your ship
Load the containers and set sail for the island. That's where the auction begins — and where it's revealed who read the market well.
Secret value cards
Only you know which containers will make you win at the end of the game. Keep your poker face: others are trying to figure it out.
At the end of the game, someone will have more money than others. But the story you'll tell will be about the auction where someone paid triple what they should have — or the fire sale that turned the tables.

SPECTACULAR MANAGEMENT
THE EMPIRE OF TRADE
Control every single link in the complex supply chain.
The pungent smell of salt mixes with the mechanical roar of cranes moving mountains of colorful goods. In this ruthless dance of supply and demand, you'll need to anticipate your competitors' moves to ensure your ships always travel fully loaded.
Every move involves a calculated risk between keeping prices high and risking unsold inventory in large warehouses. Knowing when to flood the shelves or block supplies will be the true key to your ultimate triumph.
The immense satisfaction comes when you see your overflowing ship cross the finish line, ready to be sold to the highest bidder. Will you pocket the rich spoils, or will your dock neighbor have calculated better than you in this crucial turn?
Where it rewards you
Where it challenges you
Container is undoubtedly a masterpiece for those seeking an immersive experience within a modern and deep board game. Controlling the entire group's economy requires an open mind and constant dedication. Carefully plan your business investments to dominate the closed and ruthless market. Each game transforms into a masterful lesson in managing complex logistics. There is no better true simulation than this to understand how money value works.
